It would be great if Greystar would consider more than property management, but community management as well. The big box store discounts are fine and good but don't foster community, nor do they foster loyalty to Greystar. What would do that is a shift in focus to resident retention over uneven rent discounts to attract new tenants. If discounts are available to get units rented, they are available to proven residents who pay their rent in a consistently timely manner and don't create noise... complaints. A focus on retention would give Greystar measurable long term gains that presently go unrealized, and leave residents feeling "like a number" instead of part of the community.
Staff on sight are good at offering welcoming interactions but with no substantive support from their employer to really build community, the results of their efforts get minimized through no fault of their own.

I enjoyed my move in experience at River Terrace. The front office was quick to schedule a tour while I was visiting Eugene and they did a great job of following up with me as I made my decision to make River Terrace my home. They helped me understand the various move in steps and answered all of my random questions throughout the process. They were extremely kind throughout the process as well, which was greatly appreciated!

Bad
Be ready for management to charge you for every single scrape and scratch above and beyond your security deposit. No such thing as normal wear and tear with River Terrace. Feels like they operate in bad faith, very predatory. Didn’t send an explanation of charges.

What a wonderful place to call home. As a 65 widow, I feel safe and confident in the management of River Terrace. RT is well manage and beautifully maintained. Plenty of open spaces, trees, plants and year round pool and spa. The staff organizes community get together and makes each person feel welcome. I am so lucky to have found River Terrace

Grounds are landscape beautifully. Maintenance addressed a few small issues very quickly. Our apartment has been updated with an ice looking cabinets and countertops. New carpet as well. Savannah and all of the management team here have been excellent. Very professional and worked with us on a move in date. We had not rented in a very long time. Savannah answered all of our questions in detail. She really helped in making it an easy decision for us to lease with River Terrace.
