I have lived in this apartment community for 4 years, and it is disappointing that long-term residents are not valued during lease renewals. Despite my continued residency, the renewal charges and rent increase are unreasonably high, with little to no transparency or justification provided.
Management does not clearly explain the fees, and communication around renewal concerns has been poor. Loyal residents should receive fair treatment and clear explanations, but that has not been the case... here.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves transparency and consideration for long-term residents.

Think twice before you choose this property. You may loose extra $$$.
I have been living in these apartments since 2022. Management and staff till 2023 were very co-operative and nice. But current management is sucking money in the name of penalties. Office staff was very rude. They don't correct the issue, they just argue that you have to penalty. Here is couple of recent examples, I experienced with current management.
1) I had set up auto payment in their application by 1st of every month for full due amount in their app. It worked fine for 5 months. A couple... of months back, I observed a late fee. They generated the utility on 2nd on that month and my scheduled autopayment was already ran by that time. I visited their office and tried to explain, instead of correcting the latefee, they keep on arguing that I need to pay late fee as well. 2) This month I move from one unit to a different unit. During Move-In day, they have given a wrong due amount for security deposit. The next day of my Move-In date, there is a $$$ due amount popped up along with the late fee. I visited their office to check about that amount. The person in the office just opened the account and read the numbers and just arguing that there was due amount and since it was late, I need to pay late fees. Even though it is their mistake, they just keep insist you to follow what ever they say. They won't correct at their side.
4) Since I had time till 11.59pm of my move out date, I have handed over my keys next day morning immediately, when they opened the office. But they charged me an extra day. The reason they have given is, since they work till 6pm, I need to vacate by that time and handover keys. Otherwise they considered it as an extra day.
3) The new unit front door was not colored and having lot of scratches. In my last 12 years, I never paid for any damages or cleaning. But this year they have given me around $1000 as moveout charges. Though we hired third party for deep cleaning, they have added additional $150 for additional cleaning, though no damages they have given wall damage charges. And addition one day rent. At the same my new unit was unclean, front door was having full of scratches. I tried
If they did all this for a loyal renter, guess what they can do for a new one. I realized, I made a wrong choice continuing with these guys, but unfortunately I need to live with these guys for one more year.

Best In Class - Capitol Stonebriar
I’ve lived in more apartments than I could possibly count, in cities all over the US. This one ranks the highest because of the management team. Capital isn’t run by some inexperienced community manager and team that are not committed to their jobs. The management here is top notch. That is a rare occurrence these days.
Maintenance is responsive. I constantly see a member of the team on-call, so they’re always around if there is an emergency. The club house and business center are always clean... and well appointed, and great pride is taken in the community’s appearance.
I have nothing but good to say about CS. I feel like I’m getting great value for my money here. Rent is high as hell everywhere, but I feel like I’m getting what I pay for here.
Come, check it out, meet the staff, live close to all the best restaurants and shopping, and live among friends.
Oh, and if you have a fur baby that needs some new friends, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Be warned
Toured this place, seemed nice, so I kind of chalked up the bad reviews to disgruntled people, etc... big mistake. Applied for and signed a lease for an apartment, called them 8 days before my scheduled move-in to verify what I should bring when I showed up to get the keys, yada yada... they said "great, see you in 8 days", the next day a different person from their management calls me and says "oh hey, sorry but the current resident isn't going to be able to move out on time, it's out of our... control, it's a lease holdover.... so how about you taking this other unit" this is literally 1 week before my lease starts for an out-of -state move, and just 5 days before the unit was originally listed as being available for move in. At best, imagine the incompetence it takes to not know that the apartment you marketed as being available in 5 days (and already leased again!) still has someone living it... who isn't moving. When were you even planning to clean it? A real lease holdover should be a very rare occurrence if you actually have the 30 day notice to vacate that your own lease contract requires. And as a renter just imagine saying to your landlord... " I know I gave notice I was vacating the apartment... but I just can't get moved in time, I'm just gonna stay until I get around to it" :) There's a reason they deleted the last 2 years of reviews for this property, I'm sure this one will be deleted soon too, so take notice while you can.

Terrible Property Management
This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in, from day one they were incredibly incompetent and didn’t care about fixing issues.
When I first toured the apartment complex, there was a different management company, the staff was amazing and friendly, and they had given me an offer of 1 month free.
Then I emailed them to accept the offer and got no response for a week, so I went into the office, they said that there was new management and they couldn’t give me the 1 month free... because that was the other management company.
Eventually, after much back and forth they finally gave me the 1 month free, but then I got on the elevator after getting my keys and they were advertising 2 months free.
This was just the beginning of the problems with the management, because it took 2 months for them to get me my mailbox key and put me into the package system. Even worse, it took almost 4 years for them to put me into the ButterflyMX doorbell app.
The elevator near my apartment was broken for months after I moved in, and was frequently out of order, this made bringing groceries upstairs more difficult as I didn’t have a car for most of the time I lived here.
The apartment I toured was very nice and clean but the apartment I received had several problems like broken blinds, scratched up tub, sticky carpets, and closets that smelled like smoke.
My dryer was not drying very well for 3 years, and every time I went to the office to complain, the manager would tell me that the exhaust just needs to be cleaned. Eventually, maintenance discovered that they painted the exhaust shut on the outside, so for 3 years I had to run the dryer multiple times to get stuff dry.
Flushing one of the toilets would cause urine and stuff from the other toilet trap to come up, this was absolutely disgusting and I was embarrassed to have guests see this. Maintenance said multiple times that this was impossible and they never attempted to fix it.
There was a leak from outside when it rained and they had to “fix” it 4-5 times but not before ruining my area rug that I have yet to find a suitable replacement, since it is no longer sold by the company I bought it from.
The worst thing about this apartment is that they suggested this it over another one that was available, which this apartment was next to the stairwell, which wasn’t a problem at first but after a little while the doors would break and because they refused to fix the hydraulic systems, they would slam constantly.
