The Scenic is the BEST! Amazing customer service from the office staff! Paula, Madison, and Sam are so sweet and caring. The maintenance team is AWESOME!

I moved here in 2023 and just resigned another 15 month lease. It's a great community and the office staff are fantastic. Madison specifically is an amazing staff member, along with Paula. Everybody works to together to provide excellent service to their tenants!!

The Scenic at River East is clean and safe, and the community/staff are friendly. Staff goes out of their way to create a warm community. They do this by having special events throughout the year. Maintenance requests are answered promptly. Overall, The Scenic at River East is a wonderful place to live.

Review of The Scenic at River East

I strongly advise potential renters to steer clear of The Scenic at River East, managed by Greystar. My experience living here has been nothing short of a disaster, marked by continuous maintenance issues, rude staff, and hidden fees that they use to unfairly gouge tenants upon move-out.

The nightmare began when my shower started leaking in February, causing severe water damage to the baseboards. I reported the issue numerous times, and despite multiple... failed attempts to fix it—replacing baseboards, resealing the shower, and installing blockers—the leak persisted for months. Mold became a concern, but my pleas to management went largely ignored.

In one particularly frustrating instance, I was forced to leave my apartment with my dog for an entire weekend while they attempted to fix the shower by resealing the pan. After vacating my home for 48 hours, as instructed, I returned to find the problem completely unresolved. No functional shower and no real solution in sight, despite all the inconvenience.

Even when a plumber finally discovered the real issue—a crack under the shower pan—the repair process dragged on for weeks, leaving me without a usable shower for an extended period of time. I had to physically go to the office to get keys to a temporary unit, as management refused to answer my calls or emails promptly. I was left with a loud humidifier in my bathroom to be left running for a week. The lack of communication and disregard for my basic living needs was appalling.

To make matters worse, when I moved out, they charged me for carpet damage caused by their own water leaks and used my pet addendum to stick me with hidden cleaning fees that were not made clear in the lease. These fees felt like nothing more than a money grab, especially considering the poor condition they left my apartment in.

The Greystar staff, were rude and unprofessional, with no accountability for the continued problems in my unit. Paula even had the nerve to accuse me of not following maintenance instructions properly, which was both untrue and infuriating.

If you’re considering living here, I highly recommend you think twice. Between the constant maintenance problems, the unprofessional staff, and the hidden fees, this place has been a nightmare. Save yourself the hassle and find a better-managed property. Read More

Like I always say; there have never existed any apartment or townhouse or whatever you have without complains, however, it’s how the team responds to this complain/s that makes the difference, these guys at Scenic at River East are nothing but perfect, the work quality is top notch and their response time is outta this world
