Management needs a huge upgrade. The grounds are not kept up with, policy about non-dangerous dogs on the lease has been completely ignored. Dog parks don’t get kept up with. Very expensive complex but living in public housing conditions.

I love the property is dog friendly; however, the amenities and condition of the grounds are terrible. There is a fire pit that built 4 years ago and never worked, as well as the BBQs. The grounds are a mess, with garbage everywhere and broken lighting and dog stations.

I had such a great experience at Hawthorne Commons thanks to Ashley, the assistant manager. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind throughout the entire apartment-search process. Ashley answered all my questions, made everything easy to understand, and truly went above and beyond to help me find my new home. I’m so grateful for her support and highly recommend working with her if you’re looking to move here!

Moving in was smooth and stress-free. I’ve really enjoyed the strong water pressure and the amenities so far. The apartment feels comfortable, well-maintained, and has made settling in easy from day one.

15 years here in Salem MA. Could be better, could be worse. Hoping the New Year will be better. I Love my pool time. Communication needs work from the office. Although many new faces thru the years.
