We appreciate the spacious updated units, nicely landscaped campus with walking paths, and great location. The new management team is also courteous and responsive.

Always responds very quickly! I noticed a door not locking to the building, then I submitted a ticket on my way out to work and it was already fixed when I got home. Awesome!

Listen to the reviews, the renovated apartments aren’t worth the NIGHTMARE of a management team. I thought the previous owners were a pain, well now we have a new management company and I quite literally can’t get ahold of them without constantly emailing and calling. Winter has been miserable, we had no kitchen sink for 10 days because the pipes are not installed correctly on the exterior and they froze solid despite dripping water during the freezing temps. This happened to many of my... neighbors, and I’m assuming many more units, as all of the kitchen sinks are on exterior walls. They refused to come fix it because it was too expensive. We’re on the ground floor, so every time the upstairs floors used their dishwasher or sink, it would back up into ours and we’d have to use buckets to empty out the nasty water. Over the past year, our sink has backed up 3 times and had to have third party plumbers come give a temporary fix, because again the owners won’t approve the actual needed fix. Our apartment is absolutely freezing, there’s a draft from our walk in closet and from the kitchen sink, and the furnace is electric so our comed bill is easily over $300 in the winter months. Our water heater broke and it took them over a week to come replace it, conveniently once I said I would be taking my family to a hotel and they would legally be responsible for the cost, then the replacement happened to immediately show up. I have a baby and have repeatedly reminded them of that when our hot water or kitchen sink broke, that these are necessary services, especially with a young child. We now have water damage in our bedroom ceiling with a crack forming, I immediately informed maintenance, they came and took a look at it and then closed the ticket request without doing anything to fix it. I once again submitted a request for it to be fixed and no one has come. This management team is unbelievably unresponsive and unwilling to take care of their residents. This complex has done nothing but spiral downward since management changed. I’ve lived here 6yrs now, 2 most recent years under new management, constant plumbing issues and lack of response to maintenance requests is the new normal. I had to turn to the village of palatine when a complaint went unresolved for nearly 18months! Even worse, when they do respond to concerns, their go to is the bandaid approach, the root of the issue is never addressed or corrected. I understand and respect that they... are a business, but I would imagine their profit margin would naturally increase if issues were addressed and resolved initially. Their main concern is making everything look great on the surface in an effort to attract new residents, yet they show zero regard or empathy for the hundreds of people that currently call this complex home. Beyond that, don’t bother. Property management company does not reflect the values that Albion claims they have. Also, this is by no way a luxury complex.
