After enduring a night of sleeping in my car and almost a week of a malfunctioning front door-lock that made my home less safe and secure, all because the maintenance office couldn't be bothered to communicate with me about a five-minute fix that could be provided by the front desk (but instead chose to mark multiple service requests as resolved when the problem was still occurring), I certainly feel MUCH less valued as a resident than I did prior to Sunday night. When I actually, desperately... needed the much-ballyhooed "services" of this alleged community, I was instead coldly rejected and quite literally left locked out.

My experience at District 1860 has been wonderful! I feel like I am living in a luxury hotel. From the beautiful living space, to the many community amenities, spaces and activities, to the welcoming neighbors and staff, I feel lucky to call District 1860 my new home!

I just moved into my new apartment at District 1860. The leasing agents were great to work with. The move-in was as easy as it gets. Covered loading dock so the weather didn't matter. The outdoor area is great, two fire pits, a pool, right outside the workout room.
If you are looking for a place to rent with easy access to the highway, minutes from Chicago and a great location for getting around the burbs. District 1860 is the place for you.
