Great amenities and the front desk concierge are super nice and helpful— love the gym. The views are incredible from the high floors with sweeping views. The dog park is convenient. Walkable and accessible area.

My unit has some plumbing issues where the pipes will rattle when water is shut off. They will also rattle randomly throughout the day and at night when other apartments are using water. This is very disruptive and they haven’t been able to resolve this issue after living here for a month. It’s usually peaceful but you can hear your neighbors above walk around which is surprising since I would hope for a luxury building that the construction would have been better with better noise insulation.... The water also smells like chlorine. Management and leasing can take days to answer emails, if they answer at all. Overall the building is nice. Amenities are nice. Close to the metro.

My experience at The Gantry has unfortunately been defined by poor communication, technical failures, and a lack of accountability from the leasing office. Two weeks after moving in, I still have not received an updated lease (due to being charged too high in my original lease) to sign—and I wasn’t even able to submit my lease online in the first place because the application portal is riddled with issues. At move-in, no keys were prepared at the front desk despite the significant money-order... payment, and no damage assessment walk-through was conducted. Repeated attempts to get answers from the leasing team have been met with delayed, unclear, or nonexistent responses, which has made resolving even simple matters unnecessarily difficult.
On top of this, the background check process was outdated and discriminatory — initially denying verification due to my employer’s PO box address, then requiring applicants to mail results requests to their own PO box, while also refusing to accommodate ADA needs. Rather than step in to support residents, the leasing office heightened the situation with threats to put my apartment back on the market.
What should have been an exciting move-in has instead been overshadowed by systemic failures, a broken portal, and an unresponsive, hostile leasing office.
