Living at Sway has been an amazing experience! We feel so welcomed and safe, thanks to the overnight security. The amenities are top-notch and well-maintained, including the gym, pool, hot tub, and various community events. A special shout-out to Brittany, who has been exceptionally thorough and supportive throughout our application and move-in process. Her constant communication and check-ins have made us feel right at home. Brittany's dedication to creating a welcoming and vibrant community... truly sets Sway apart. It's truly a wonderful place to call home.

Well thought out apartments and amenities, amazing events

I lived in a one bedroom (Approx. 670sq ft) on third floor from July 2020 to November 2022.
PROS:
The apartment is well thought out with a wine coolers etc and ample storage.
Everything always worked in my apartment.
Maintenance was typically quick to respond (under 48 hours).
There is nightly security.
The amenities are truly beautiful and I always felt like I was living in a resort.
Since March 2022, the management team have put on some spectacular events for the residents including mermaids...
in the pool! There is roughly one event per month.
Neighbours are friendly and never had any noise issues etc.
Location is fantastic with a TJ's, Vons, the Pier, bars and restaurants all within a 15 mins walk.

CONS:
My biggest bug bear was a limited closet size in the bedroom
Occasional late night / early morning noise from the local restaurants during clean up.
The level of homelessness in the area has definitely risen.
Rent prices are astronomical - I got a great deal as I moved during covid. Current rent prices are outside my range.
The management team are typically responsive and very friendly - There have been times that response has been limited. For example, it took over 2 months to get my windows cleaned.
The amenities are great but they are not used much and the hot tub breaks down a lot.
Getting packages and food deliveries is annoying. Food delivery people need to be let into elevators etc by the security - who do hourly patrols so can be missed easily. And you need to get packages from the mail room which only the staff have keys to - this is more about the inconvenience than anything else.
I am annoyed that I paid $75/month pet rent for my cat - why is it so high?
I really wish they had built some amenities on the roof - its wasted space with spectacular views.

Overall I loved living at Sway and I will miss it. If you can afford the Santa Monica lifestyle, its a wonderful choice.
