Family Friendly Complex
Marvin Garden Apts has 2-3 bedroom units. The 3 bedroom units have w/d hookups and are two levels. All bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. Livingrm, dining room, kitchen, and a bathroom/laundry room downstairs with a fenced in back patio . There's a playground for children visible from all the 3 bedroom units and some of the 2 bedroom units. A large grassy area in front of the 2 bedroom units perfect for the older kids to play ball.
The complex is income based and very affordable, the grounds... are well maintained, snd colored with lush green grass, scattered with trees.
Marvin Garden Apts are within walking distance to stores, fitness gyms, schools, bus stops, and the new Cotati train station and is only a 10 min ride to the new Graton Casino.
The smaller 2 bedroom units are one level with spacious kitchens and living rooms. They also have private fenced in back patios. All units have been beautifully renovated, new carpets, fresh paint, and linoleum in the dining room and kitchen. The master bedrooms all have large walk-in closets and all the units have lots of storage space.
The downside to the complex is that management changes frequently abd each manager wants to implement something new making it somewhat difficult to keep up with changes but that's compensated by the community feel of the complex. Many of the residents living at Marvin Gardens have raised their kids there and continue to enjoy the comforting family feel. The residents look out for each other and the kids all get along.
It almost feels like a country get away when you feel the sun shining through your window, hear the birds and crickets chirpping, and the joyful laughter of children playing.
If you can stay away from the office and the current seemingly mentally challenged manager who the owners obviously forgot to tell was working at a low-income complex, you'll really love living there.
The only other warning I would give a potential resident is that the current manager is vindictive, a micro manager who is constantly in peoples business. Stay clear except when necessary for income verification, recerts, and other business regarding occupancy. Besides that it's a great place to live.
I hope this review is helpful. :-)
