We do want to clarify that any concessions or rent adjustments related to the incident were determined based on the specific impact to each apartment. Residents who were displaced from their homes were provided with rent abatement during the time they were unable to occupy their units. For residents who were not displaced, concessions were handled differently.

We also understand your concerns regarding communication. During a situation of this scale, there was a lot of information being shared in real time, and we recognize that it may not have always felt clear or consistent. That’s not the experience we aim to provide, and we are sorry for any confusion that may have caused.

Our priority since then has been restoring the building as quickly and safely as possible. That work does require ongoing construction activity, and I understand how disruptive that can feel day to day.

Regarding the management transition, We understand how the change may have felt abrupt. We've stepped in to ensure there is consistent communication and support moving forward, and our goal is to be accessible and transparent as we work through this.

In terms of air quality and safety, we are working with licensed vendors and following required protocols to ensure the building remains safe during repairs. If you’re experiencing a specific concern in your home, we'd like to have our team take a closer look right away.

On concessions, these have been reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on the level of impact to each home, particularly in situations involving displacement. We are happy to review your specific situation with you to make sure everything has been properly evaluated.
