This is a horrible place to live. I live here now. There have been a plethora of issues and management has failed to address any of them.
1) There is a package thief in the building. Many residents have had packages stolen from inside the building and management refuses to help or install cameras.
2) I have had a leak in my ceiling for several days and have been unable to sleep in my apartment. Management has not responded to my calls or emails to ask for help. I went to the physical office... and it was closed--at 2pm on a Monday.
HORRIBLE. Do not give them your money. The management is absolutely horrible and leaves us residents feeling helpless.

The listing prices are inaccurate and for months we were given false promises. Management is horrible, and does not help at all.

The manager charged me late fee $2XX When I didn't even pay late. They don't care about their tenant at all and the leasing office was closed pretty often when every time I walked by. Terrible experience! Will never recommend

I'm renting a studio here at Hillside Village, and I really love it. The staff is helpful and the building is well maintained. My unit is cozy and has a nice view of the Berkeley Hills. I'm close to UC Berkeley, Downtown Berkeley and Bart, so the location is outstanding, with numerous places within close walking distance, including numerous stores, restaurants and bars. San Francisco is just a short 23 minute ride away on Bart.
