Ive been looking at this property for some time, wanting to live in the city but still in a residential area. I was skeptical at first but the price was reasonable for all the amenities which i was paying more for at my previous home and had nothing beautiful to look at or fun envirement for my child or dog. Ms Temeka made signing my lease such a pleasure and was very sweet with me. My apartment looks absolutely great and i have no complaints. Im excited to make this my new little home!

I just moved to Norfolk a few months ago. Aura seemed great on paper, but be warned it has many flaws.

Sound proofing is almost non-existent. I can not tell you how many times I have been woken up by my neighbors playing music or even just walking around upstairs. Also the amount of traffic you hear from the tram and Boush street is constant.

Construction workers are here every-day peering into your windows, but work never seems to be completed. I honestly don't know what they are even doing... to the building.

There was a major water leak in the building that took almost two days to even restore water back to us.

Every time it rains the bottom level of the garage floods. Management has negated the question if they are going to fix it.

The dog wash station has been out of soap since I moved in. Also has standing water.

House keeping does not really even clean the common areas on my floor, nor the garage, dog washing room or service elevator.

My front door does not close properly. When I asked maintenance to fix it, they did a sham of a job and said "the building is settling, there is nothing they could do."

Billing has also been messed up since I moved in.

Please investigate for yourself but there are way better properties out with less of a headache. Read More

The apartment building is beautiful and the amenities are good. I would give the building a 4. I would take away 1 star for the size of the apartments.

That being said, all of that is tarnished with horrendous management. Every discussion with Krystle --one of the two ladies managing the business-- has involved disrespect and threats. I would actively avoid this building for the management in the building.

The company that owns this building and many more buildings that are way more... respectful and better managed. I would look at one of the other options prior to the Edge at 450. Read More

Absolutely amazing! Alison made the move in process a breeze! Bridget, Krystle and the staff is unparalleled when it comes to professionalism. They truly make you feel at home in your new place. Mike the maintenance man is so nice and all maintenance reqs get addressed posthaste and they keep you updated! You can not find this opulent and neoteric aesthetic with the amenities for the price and location anywhere else!

I have lived at The Edge for a little over 3 months now and have loved it. The apartments are gorgeous with plenty of space. Our view looks towards the Art District, which never gets old. What’s even better is the convenience of the parking garage. I don’t have to lug my groceries across a street to bring them in. And on top of all of that the entire staff is absolutely incredible.

The building is new and as such has been ironing out a few very minor issues. You may find some reviews of people... upset about these things but I see that the good far outweighs the “bad”.
