I love living here, but the communication is really bad for me because for some reason I can't ever log into the portal at River Oaks but luckily I can go through the gray star portal now and get help. I have given them my email five or six times plus it's the same email I've had for ever so it should be on the lease. It's just irritating. I feel safe here too.

The community is generally pretty nice. It’s quiet and polite, most of the issues are administrative. I don’t think there’s enough trash pick up, I think it’s only two days a week? I don’t believe this is the fault of the staff but the new roofs they bragged about are leaking in Building 7. Hopefully that we can get that fixed soon! Also I think the garage could use a big sweep. The gravel that’s accumulated causes a lot of skidding noises from the cars. If you aren’t careful you can slip on the... gravel yourself (been there lol). Once the water damage gets addressed I think I would recommend this place fully.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Valet trash pickup is Sunday through Thursday evenings. Our maintenance team empties the trash container rooms daily, and Waste Management empties our compactor weekly. We are sorry that there was... an issue with the missing gutter, but that has since been repaired. We are in the process of having the garage cleaned and power washed, along with new striping and numbering very soon! The Park at River Oaks is a great location with great amenities. It’s not far from anything but not so close you’re constantly stuck in traffic. The leasing office staff is kind, but if they allude to the fact that the trash valet is a removable expense it is NOT. The maintenance is quick AND effective, I’ve had a couple of same day fixes which is extremely valuable. It’s a good place to be.

The size of the rooms is very good, and the noise level is very good, except from tenants above. However, the halls are seldom washed, so animal stains remain, and the garage is not kept clean. One cannot read the numbers on the assigned spots, and sand and leaves collect.
