Living at Montelago Apartments has been a deeply disappointing experience, and I feel it's important to caution anyone considering moving here. My primary concern is the lack of responsiveness from management when addressing safety issues and enforcing community guidelines. After living here for over a year and a half, it's become clear that tenant concerns are repeatedly dismissed by both the local management team and Toby at the corporate office.

When I raised legitimate safety concerns with... Janae, the office manager, my concerns went largely ignored. I even installed security cameras for my own peace of mind -- something that should never be necessary in a well-managed community. Despite providing management with documentation, including police reports and written evidence of threats, I received no meaningful action or acknowledgment.

The referral program also feels misleading. I followed all required steps to refer a new tenant but never received the promised reward. Attempts to resolve the issue with management and corporate were met with indifference and unhelpful responses.

Additionally, there has been a noticeable decline in the professionalism and courtesy of the manager Janae, because of the blank stare she will give you, which makes it increasingly difficult to feel comfortable or valued as a resident. It's disheartening to see a community that was once welcoming change so drastically.

I truly hope management reconsiders its approach to tenant relations and safety. Residents deserve to feel heard, respected, and secure in their homes. Read More

Although this property looks like a luxury apartment, there is no security enforced. My brother’s rim and tires were stolen. Months later another family member stayed over and his vehicle was stolen. Note, both followed the overly bizarre guest parking policy and they were still victims of theft. You and your guests will always be at risk, stay away!

This place and the people who manage it are the worse. I am a first time apartment renter and at first I thought the apartment was perfect and the stuff matched but overtime staying there were problems left and right. Washer always broke and instead of replacing it they just kept fixing it knowing it was something bigger going own. Ceiling was broke and they never fixed it. Complained about loud noise nothing was done. Walls are very thin can hear standing outside. Front door was off balance so... when it rained water came from under door. And the staff tuhh don’t get me started, they made mistakes and errors on several accounts and instead of acknowledging their wrong they continued to keep the lie going until I and several others moved. The week I started moving I saw and spoke to several neighbors who were moving so if you are wondering why they have open availability is because people leave soon as their lease is up!! Was going back and forth with them as well as their property managers and even the president of the so call management if you want to deal with kids running a business go right ahead and apply to lease because that is all that is in office. Overrated overpriced ragged units/gates. You will regret living here it’s a luxury shack.
