Crime is tolerated here on a consistent basis. Cars stolen out of the secure garage and multiple apartments broken into while residents were away. Management chalks it all up to "crime happens everywhere" This is true, but at Brava it is invited and no security measures have been consistently implemented.

Brava advertises living here as peaceful and stress free but my experience has been the complete opposite. If I had known what I was walking into I would have never signed a lease here. I’ve been here for less than a month and this has been a nightmare.

My apartment constantly smells like fried fish or extremely strong cooking odors from my neighbor’s unit. It’s not a once in a while thing, it’s every day for hours, often overnight. It wakes me up from my sleep and ruins any sense of peace or... comfort in my own home.

Yes, you expect some smells in apartment living but this is extreme. I’m literally traumatized
I don’t know if the issue is with the vents, the hallway or just a complete lack of ventilation between units. But it’s gotten to the point where even my clothes are starting to smell.


I’ve tried everything you could think of : air fresheners, draft stoppers, turning on ventilation 24/7 nothing changes. I’ve spoken to management multiple times. Nothing has changed. It’s exhausting and frustrating.

Brava is way too expensive to live like this. This has seriously affected my mental health and quality of life. I hate coming home. I delay sleep just to avoid waking up to the odor again. I’m literally traumatized. It genuinely feels like I’m living in a nightmare.

Management does not seem to care about tenant well-being. If they did, this would have been taken care of by now. I wouldn’t recommend leasing here unless you’re okay with living in discomfort while being completely ignored.
