Safety is somewhat of a concern at Platform. I’ve lived here for nearly 3 years and here are a couple of the things that have occurred in my time here.

1. The unit next to me was raided by a swat team, the building was shot with tear gas canisters. Management did not release any details on the situation or what actually happened.

2. My car was broken into in May 2023. Management does not have any security cameras in parking area.

3. Maintenance entered my apartment for requested maintenance... and left their key in my door with my unit unsecured for several days while I was out of town.

4. There have been many condition issues with the structures. Exterior revocation to fix construction issues took several years and recently concluded. Also, the parking deck began to collapse in one area. This appears to have been fixed but we are not yet allowed to park there. Read More

To be completely honest, it’s difficult for me to say what I enjoy most about living at Platform because my experience so far has been very disappointing. My unit was extremely dirty at move-in, and even after multiple cleanings, there are still areas that were never properly addressed. On top of that, there have been ongoing issues with pests, I have ants and cockroaches, strong smells in the hallways, and trash being left out for hours, which creates an unsanitary environment throughout the... building. The main issue I am having right now is with this white exterior door that is banging against my bedroom door. This has become really frustrating to live with, not only is it causing me headaches, but waking me up in the middle of the night. I had maintenance fix the broken pieces that were left there, but I am now thinking it needs a soft-close feature or to be replaced completely. I should not have to request maintenance or say something about this every other week for it to be fixed.

I think the location is great. I think the amount of random sketchy people having crazy parties and getting wild on Sunday nights or normal days is a bit much. I don’t like the pool partiers as much as I might understand, leaving their excess trash at my door. I don’t use the garbage caddy I walk my trash to the can like a normal person. I don’t like walking out to go to work with the weekends party garbage at my door. Maybe they think I don’t live here too? I dunno, my spot is in the heat of it... but I don’t condone leaving your trash around. I doubt it’s residents but who can tell when every person might have 10-15 roudy people in their party. From the start this place was good. Reading reviews and all. I finally came to visit the spot. Met Jennifer and she gave me the tour. I was looking for the city view or pool view. Got the pool view. Love the surroundings and foodie spots. Place is awesome.
