they are friendly only until you sign the lease

They are very nice, friendly, and responsive only until you sign the lease, but they will start ignoring your emails or requests and won’t be willing to help after you move in because you already signed and would have to live with it anyways.

Only great things !

I have lived here for 3 years now - Management at Marq Uptown is the best. They are always on top of requests and keeping residents in the loop. They are also very friendly, warm, and welcoming - which makes this place all the better !!

Great apartments, staff, and location

I've been living here for a little over a year now. The change in management has really made a difference (happened sometime in Summer of 2017). You might find some bad reviews in the past, but the current management has really made me feel comfortable while living here. They're responsive to needs and constantly improving things. It kind of sucks that they had to clean up another's mess, but I highly recommend this apartment complex now. If you're curious, the population tends to be young... professionals or graduate students. Not noisy, and this is important to me since I have odd schedules and work 60-80 hrs/wk as I'm in doing my medical residency -- sleep is important! It also happens to be right in between the HEB and the hospital :)
