New building, but beware!

My daughter is a current resident and I am on the lease for this apartment. The apartment itself is new and the garage parking is convenient. The maintenance crew is great and whenever she has had issues, they are very prompt in responding. The one MAJOR issue I experienced myself is the horrendous smell of MARIJUANA that reeks in the hallway at all hours of the day. You can easily see people on their balconies smoking and the smell permeates throughout the building. She has reported the smell... and issue to management and nothing has been done to remedy the situation. In addition, be weary of a unit anywhere near the pool as there has been several incidents of people blasting music and being extremely loud at all hours of the night until early in the morning. Managements only recommendation has been to call the police nonemergency number and report the issue then they will contact the apartment security officer. Just giving you a honest account of the community.

Not the best place to live, doable

Decent place to live, not too far away from the fun. Fairly quiet place (other than the courtyards that echo from dogs and people on balconies). The apartments are nice new clean and gorgeous in the inside. I love my appliances and color scheme. However, you can tell it was built in a quick rush as there are pieces already falling apart and things put in backwards and upside down. Paint splashes on my hardwoods, missing grout/broken tiles in tub, air vents and light fixtures installed crooked... .

Security guards do not have a phone to contact so you must walk out to garage 1st floor to their car if you need them. The street area outside the building can be a little sketch especially at night. Don’t have your guests park on the street their car will most likely get hit or broken into at night. The pool, gym and game room are great amenities!

I can say that this is a new property so there are a lot of kinks getting worked out and office staff has a very high turnover rate which makes it hard for residents to feel heard and understood. I can’t even keep up with the names down there anymore.

HUGE trash issue where they aren’t keeping up with the dumpster schedule so the garage reeks a bad stench and there is usually 6 foot piles of trash on both sides of the garage doors on any given day.

Moving in is a hassle as there is only 2 elevators in the entire building and they are both basically on the left wing of the building. You must pull your uhaul up to a loading pad (if it isn’t occupied with overflowing trash bins) and take all your stuff up to your apartment via stairs or an elevator if not occupied.

Parking garage SUCKS. People drive way too fast and there are no speed bumps or mirrors for visibility. If you get home after 10pm forget about getting a spot on your designated floor. 1/2 of the spots are marked “compact” car and people don’t adhere so larger cars and trucks must double park or squeeze into smaller spots. Management has been contacted about “stray” cars parked in the garage. They will not do anything about it there has been a car double parked since January or February of 2023 that has been taking up 2 spots and no one seems to know who it belongs to or cares about getting it toed out.

Overall if you don’t mind a little hassle and sticking up for yourself you’re good. If you want luxury and piece of mind this is NOT the place for you at all.

We love our new place!

We just relocated from DC to Nashville and after visiting 11 different places, we are happy to choose Apex as our home. The building is brand new and very well maintained! I am glad I did not listen to any negative reviews and came and saw the place for myself.

The amenities here are fantastic! We love the smart stove, smart washer and dryer, and the beautifully designed kitchen. Everything is spotlessly clean. We are here for less than a week and are loving our new place. They have beautiful...
amenities, gym, club room and rooftop view.

As a professional working from home, comfort of home was my priority. I love working from the balcony overlooking the peaceful courtyard. Additionally, it is very convenient for my husband having a quick 3-minute commute to downtown.

Destiny, the manager and Jeph at the conciergerie are super friendly. Can’t recall the name of the other lady at the front desk but she was super friendly as well. Jeph was so patient to show me multiple units for comparison and was very helpful returning my class and answering my questions even when I piled him with them. Destiny was super helpful for making our move-in process smooth and hassle-free. It was very important for us to have a friendly and kind team in charge of the building.

I highly recommend this place to anyone! Just come and tour for yourself.

Still seems like a work in progress, but beautiful apartments

Not really any community events or opportunities to get to know the community, but it seems like the whole building/area is still a work in progress. The gym is also a letdown considering the price of my apartment per month. Good clubroom and beautiful apartments though, however, my dishwasher doesn't work, and it's supposedly "brand new." Also, even though it's just 1.8 miles from Broadway, still feels a little bit separated (far) from the downtown area.
