I applied for an apartment at Poth Brewery Lofts, where I was required to pay both an application fee and a $350 refundable “amenities fee” before my application was even approved. That was the first red flag. Why should someone be paying for amenities at a property they don’t even live at just to apply? (I definitely regret doing this, don't be like me)

Before finalizing my decision, I toured the property. I personally did not like the apartments I was shown. The rooms had little to no natural... light, and overall, it just wasn’t the right fit for me. I asked the leasing company to deny/withdraw my application, and I was told that was fine and that my refundable amenities fee would be returned.

It has now been a month, and I am still waiting for my $350 refund.

Every time I reach out, I seem to get a different explanation for the delay, and at this point, none of it makes sense. They had absolutely no problem taking my payment quickly and successfully, but somehow returning a refundable fee has become an extremely drawn-out process.

I completed the payment process correctly, I was told I would receive my refund, and I still do not have my money back.

Based on my experience, I highly recommend thinking twice before applying to this property. I don’t even live there, and I’ve already had to deal with this level of frustration and unprofessionalism just trying to get money returned that I was explicitly told was refundable.

DO NOT APPLY HERE unless you are prepared to potentially deal with the same issue.

And if management responds to this review disputing what happened, I want to be very clear: **as of the date of this review, I am still out $350 and still waiting for my promised refund. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

Everything has been great so far

I’ve had a wonderful leasing experience from start to finish. David was very informative, attentive to my requests and timely with his communication and responses. Everything has gone smoothly and I have enjoyed my experience at Poth thus far. I would certainly recommend it to others.

I have enjoyed this being my first apartment. Shout out to the entire staff David is always friendly maintenance as well and a special shoutout to Ms. Anette I really enjoy seeing her in the evenings to chat. Feels like home here!

I've been enjoying Poth Brewery Lofts for 3 years now and I really enjoy it here. The building is amazing and has a soul of it's own. The management team is great and have resolved any issues. Very quiet, private, peaceful place.
