used to love living here until a horrid experience with the property managers. super unhelpful, had to file a claim in court to get my security deposit back to which their lawyer said was a “very simple solution.” after a whole lot of nonsense, i am getting my security deposit back finally, no thanks to NorthXNorthwest :)

Excellent place to live. Great management, maintenance, housekeeping and concierge staff. Grounds are maintained in excellent condition. You are close to Center City, but far enough away from the traffic. Close to several major museums and public transportation is easy to access.

I used to love living here, however the last few months have been rather disappointing and frustrating for a number of reasons. The major reason is due to the way the new management has decided to charge residents for water. Instead of paying for water per unit (a.k.a. you pay for how much YOU use), the building’s water use is divided evenly between units. This is extremely frustrating as it has caused an enormous increase in our water bill. I am now paying three times as much per month despite... my water use remaining the same. Rent in this building is already extremely pricey in comparison to other buildings nearby, so this change was the catalyst in searching for potential other homes. It really is a lovely area of Philly and the staff here is great, but it is absolutely not worth the money.

The apartment was fine. But management is the real problem. They take days to weeks on end to answer simple emails, Maintance does a “quick fix” on issues rather than actually taking the time and make things better, the lease is not renter friendly and again Managment isn’t either.
