The hallon is great! Not only is the community beautiful but the apartments are spacious and incredibly well thought out. The studio layouts in building two are awesome and the amenities! Oh my gosh the amenities! This community is incredible and I loved my time living here. Featuring easy access to goodwill, too. Trouble!

I was in the process of moving to Minnesota from another state and found The Hallon. I paid the hefty $350 application fee (only $50 to submit the application but then $300 to process) as I was confident this would be a great place to live and was added to the waitlist to stay until my moving date was confirmed. I was told my time on the waitlist would expire by the end of October. During this moving time, my 90 year old grandmother’s health had significantly declined and my family and I decided... that it would be best if I moved in to be a part of her caretaking. With it now being October and due to these unforeseen circumstances, I will not be able to live here and my application/spot on the waitlist will expire. As someone who works with people and makes exceptions for reasons like this, I was hoping The Hallon would be compassionate to my situation and refund at least part of the $350 application fee seeing as I have not been holding a spot. It seems the Hallon cares more about pinching pennies versus offering quality customer care as they have denied my request keeping the entire amount. I am now grateful that I will not be living here because if they are treating a possible tenant like this already, I can only imagine how poorly they treat their current tenants. Read More

This is truly one of the best places I’ve ever lived. The management team is professional, attentive, and always well-organized, which makes everything run smoothly. The property is very clean, quiet, and well taken care of. I moved into the Hallon six weeks ago and my experience has been nothing short of amazing! The staff are so friendly, and helpful. The amenities are amazing, the common areas are always kept clean and the communication from the team is always spot-on and clear. I would 100% recommend!

I moved in November of 2023. The building and the staff were seriously amazing. I toured with Josh and Kelsa and they were one of the many reasons that I decided to call the Hallon my new home. The building was kept looking great all together and despite having a few bumps on the road (the garage being shut down for a couple of weeks due to an incident where someone had run into it) I had up until recently enjoyed my time at the Hallon. It started a couple of months ago, it just seems like the... apartment community is looking very aged. Which is a bit odd because I want to say the building is only a year old. I just feel as though there is always something wrong: lights hanging from the ceiling, the back door latch device is constantly not working, tons of scratches on the walls. I have brought this up to Kiya (who has been amazing.... and seems to be running this whole building by herself) and I feel as though things take a bit longer to get addressed. Probable due to the fact that she is running the building on her own, or at least that is what it seems like from my perspective. I will mention that I have made very good friends here while living at the Hallon. I just don't think I will be renewing my lease due to the current state of the building. The amenities are great, but I just feel as though the look of the building is deteriorating and I feel that if I am spending as much as I am on rent, that I want the building to reflect that as well.
