I moved into Vox on Two in mid-April 2025. Since then, it has been nothing but headaches and frustration. This is a poorly managed apartment community and your rent will simply be wasted money. To be specific, since we have moved in, we have dealt with the following issues:
(1) Our HVAC unit was totally rusted out and the unit was hanging on by a single screw, ready to fall at any moment (see photo). We called maintenance and they assessed the issue, telling us it would... take a month to fix. We told maintenance that we would like to be informed if there were any updates and that the maintenance team did NOT have permission to enter our apartment while we were gone. When we went on vacation, we were surprised to come home with holes in our walls (see photos) and paint/plaster all over our apartment. It appeared that maintenance did the work without informing us. Worse, they entered our apartment without informing us (which felt like a total violation of our privacy). Also, you don’t expect your apartment to be a mess when you come home from a vacation, having to spend hours cleaning up the mess you never anticipated. Poor communication and a violation of our privacy. That’s what we got out of this. It took a few weeks and several dozen emails and phone calls but the issue was fixed. We were left wondering: why didn’t anyone at the property check the HVAC unit before we moved in, especially considering how bad of a condition it was in? And why was no one held accountable for entering our unit without our permission?
(2) When we moved in, one of the three elevators in the building was not working. Over the course of two weeks, two out of three elevators were not working. For multiple days. Imagine trying to haul groceries to your fourth floor apartment when the amenities you pay for are not working.
(3) “Guaranteed” parking is anything but guaranteed. We came home after another trip to find that someone had parked in our spot. Because it was a Saturday, there was no one on site to remove the car so that we could park. Keep in mind: we pay $200 a month to park in this spot. SWe had to park our car 15 minutes away and pay extra just to resolve the issue while we waited for Vox to figure out what happened.

The issues you described—particularly the HVAC condition, unauthorized entry, elevator outages, and parking challenges—are not reflective of... the standards we strive to maintain. Unfortunately, some issues are beyond our control as we rely on compliance and help from external parties as well as residents. Since your move-in, we’ve taken several steps to address these concerns. We’ve spoken directly with our maintenance team to reinforce proper entry protocols and improve communication and cleanliness after service. We also reviewed our emergency response procedures after the parking incident and reimbursed your out-of-pocket parking expenses. We also had our elevator vendor on-site on multiple occasions to ensure no further outage with the issue that was discovered at the time of move-in. While these situations sometimes are unavoidable, we act quickly to ensure they get addressed as promptly as possible on our end. Your experience has prompted important internal changes, and we’re committed to making meaningful improvements. We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to do better. Modern apartment with pros and cons
I lived at Vox on Two for five years, and overall it was a pleasant experience.
The surrounding area is generally nice, uncrowded, and near transportation. Many of the units have balconies overlooking a patch of trees and you can hear the birds in the courtyards.
The units themselves are decent - they are showing some wear like scratches in the cabinets, corners of vinyl flooring beginning to peel, or cracked fridge drawers. That said, maintenance does come quickly if something essential... is broken. I wouldn't call it luxury, but definitely modern and more professionally maintained than many apartments in the Boston area.
The amenities are nice to have but perhaps slightly outdated compared to the neighboring buildings. I wished they maintained the gym better as they were very slow to fix broken equipment (especially unfortunate when it was one of the treadmills which are popular at peak hours). As for the pool area, if you are an adult looking forward to unwinding in the hot tub after work on summer evenings, it's not worth it - they used to keep it nicely hot but in recent years it had been below body temperature and just felt kind of cold and clammy. I'm not sure if the heater broke or this was an attempt to make it safe for peoples unmitigated 6 year olds to stay in there indefinitely.
I also think they've made a consumer unfriendly change regarding lease terms. One might notice that they adjust the lease lengths such that all leases turn over in the spring/summer when apartments are most expensive (I've seen up to $1000/month rent difference on the same unit in winter vs summer). Even if you initially rent in the winter when your lease renews in the summer, they will get you up to that higher summer "market value." It just feels like another money grab.
Overall, it could have been way worse, but it also could have been better.

1.The buzzer doesn't work and hasn't worked since before i moved 2.Access to the back of the property should be granted if you are too cheap to provide all residents with fobs to enter as they please (we currently have to wait for someone to move out and return their keys in order to gain one). 3.Carpeting is just gross and old, plus is full of pet hair. 4.Handicap people only get one free spot out of the 6 visitor parking spaces when this property has over 100 units. if you need parking you... must pay for it inside the garage but you better hurry up and request a parking pass before 5pm. 5.The only person that's nice is Felipe at front desk and the maintenance crew, everyone else hates their job (idk why they picked this customer service job) including the property manager.

Our team recently tested the... intercom, and it appears to be working, but please let us know if you’re still experiencing any issues. We also don’t see a record of a clubroom rental in the past year or so but would love to learn more about your experience. The gate at the back of the property is owned by a neighboring business that installed the fob system. However, please contact our office if you need a fob.
