On 6/26 the unit one floor up and one apartment over caught on fire. My unit received water damage on the wall dividing the living room and kitchen, along with pockets of damage in the bedroom, closet, and hallway. It took 5 days for TLC to inspect my apartment. They never put dehumidifier fans in my unit. On 7/2, a cleanup crew scooped out the mold growing on the living room wall and primed it. Several days later, they came back to paint. Less than two weeks later the paint started peeling... again, indicating a larger problem. On 7/21, I reported finding visible mold growing in my kitchen cabinet and the smell of mold throughout the unit. I also reported that my nose was burning all the time, and that I’m coughing and having trouble sleeping. As of two weeks later (8/5) no work has been done. I have started staying with friends because of health concerns. MEANWHILE, they are repainting the lobby on 8/5

Serious Safety Concern
During the big fire on 6/26, I barely heard the fire alarms going off in the hallway. Several residents said the same thing. One tenant slept through the entire event.

Other Fun Issues
It takes about 4 to 5 flushes to get toilet paper to flush down. Tenants pay for the water on top of rent.
Several of my shelves in the closets are held together with zip ties.
One shelf in the kitchen is held up by two shaky screws and prayers.
Different levels of stink in the hallways. The fourth floor is especially bad. One smell hits you when you get off the elevator (if it’s working), and when you turn the corner there’s another new smell, and when you get halfway down the hall, there’s yet another new stench. It’s an intriguing and gross experience.
Freight elevator has been down for over a year, as I was told by other tenants. One of the two passenger elevators has been down since January 2026. The other gets serviced frequently as it goes in and out.
In the first three months of moving in, firefighters have been on my floor twice and fought a major fire on the floor above me. Once I overheard a firefighter tell another tenant, “Yeah, we’re here a lot.”

I have lived at The Wyndham Apartments twice, and both apartments had beautiful floor plans that I really enjoyed. My experience with the leasing team has always been positive. Robert, my previous leasing manager, made my first experience a great one, and Nathan was just as helpful and professional during my recent move. The building engineer did an outstanding job in troubleshooting and repairing the problem I had. He spent almost an hour working in a very confined space. The maintenance staff here is first class and are on top of any concerns you have quickly.

I've lived in the Wyndham in the past and I enjoyed my time there. Now I'm in the process of the rental application, tours etc, with a different set of consultants. As I've stated in the past and I'll say again, TLC is definitely the experience I've had with both Nathan and Troy. The absolute best communication and the best customer service experience. Had an issue with oven after moving in, maintenance came and resolved issue in a timely manner and took care of it and it was working perfectly the next day!
