The move in process was smooth and efficient. Wonderful community and apartment. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful environment just outside the city.

Easiest 5-star review I can give. The staff is the best, the maintenance team is always communicative, the property is fantastic (and safe), and apartments are spacious. I’ve stayed at 3 different apartment complexes so far, and this one blows the others out of the water.

Great, “in-the-cut” community. Perfect location. Love the amentities! Maintenance responds in a timely manner to resolve any and every issue or concern. The cleanliness and landscape of the community is my favorite part. Nice lil dog park. Love that they have food trucks from the community stop by. Really overall everything has been great.

However, taking away a star for the train that’s in the backyard of the complex and unfortunately we are in a unit that it is directly next to. I personally... feel like a discount should be rewarded for that alone. Originally it was expressed by staff that a train was near by but not that pretty much runs all day and night. I often lose sleep or get awaken in the wee hours of the morning because it’s so loud, sometimes even shakes our windows. Read More

I am thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this community, especially the management and staff. They are exceptionally kind, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, hardworking, and dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards.
The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the buildings are well constructed and cared for. The location is conveniently close to shopping and transportation. I highly recommend 1824 Defoor as the ideal choice for your next apartment home.
