First of all, management is not here 2 days out of the week and when they are, their doors are closed a lot.
Second, the walls and insulation are weak. You will hear people yawning through the walls. Footsteps, music bass, etc.
Third, the place must be sinking into the ground and to me, it's like every time after an earthquake, there's more sinking. The floors are fun house. Notice them as you walk the halls. The are tilted and ceiling columns are cracking.
The will increase your rent so... high that everyone I knew that lived here when I moved in are gone. You will have to move again.

We noticed this review was submitted anonymously, which often indicates it’s from a current resident—likely frustrated about a rental increase. Regarding rent increases, we strive to remain competitive while balancing rising operational costs....
Regarding office hours, yes, the team is off two days a week—as is standard for a seven-day week work schedule. When we are on-site, we’re actively managing the property, which sometimes includes being away from our desks or in meetings. We encourage residents to reach out by phone, email, or by submitting requests through the portal.
As for the structural and maintenance concerns mentioned, if you’re experiencing anything specific, we urge you to submit a work order. We understand that building age and sound insulation can be factors in any multifamily community in general. Thank you.

Office staff is great. Lorri has managed to hold down the fort with minimal support until recently and do a great job. Consuelo has done awesome as well

do your research
This place is a joke. I do not recommend renting here. My rent was jacked up $350 after I had already moved in and my only option was to find another place and hire movers again after I moved here from out of state. I was told that gas and water were included and the sales lady even commented that I could run my fireplace 24/7 for free - that was a lie. I was told guest parking is across the street - that was a lie, it is about a block and a half away... I would not have rented here had I known... that as it is ridiculous to have your guests (especially elderly) park so far away!
The pipes are messed up in this building and I keep my place spotless but often come home to my sink and bathtub full of crud and the entire apartment stinks from it.. lovely to come home to after a long day or walk in with guests to.. and if you don't contact them by 5pm about it you will just have to deal with it until you can get a hold of them the next day. They have never returned a voicemail message I have left.
The walls and floors are so thin that I hear my neighbor snoring.
The office staff - well... they have changed about 7 times in the past 12 months... every single time I walk in there it is different people working there. - that goes for management also. and any question you ask you will always get a different answer.. I cannot say that they have even been helpful in solving a single issue I have gone in there with, instead they seem to team up against you and the issue becomes your problem... They do not follow any standards or policies. They just informed us that we now have to pay a service fee in order to pay our rent... They are now charging us to pay rent!!!
Each time maintenance comes they leave the place in worse shape then it was. They have scratched up my floors in the bathroom and kitchen, were here working on the plumbing and now my shower door leaks so i have to wipe it up every single day.... left dirt marks on the walls when they changed the air filter.
Whenever I use the main entrance (which is where guests will come in) there is always dog urine and it stinks so bad that there are flies... I have to swipe my key fob here to enter so that is always pleasant.

St. Tropez
I really enjoy my apartment at The St. Tropez. It is small and intimate with very large floor plans and it is on the Marina. I'm close to everything in the area and have great views and nice neighbors. I enjoy living there because the size of apartments.

What you see isn't always what you get
The apartment I live in is part of G&K properties. There are 4 complexes here, at the end of a finger in beautiful Marina Del Rey. The marina view is AMAZING!!! Watching the sailboats come in during sunset is nothing less than spiritual. Restaurants are less than a quarter mile walk and Venice Beach pier is about a mile. A trip to LAX is about a 15 minute drive, so it's perfect for jetsetters. Away from the craziness of Hollywood and Downtown LA, but close enough to get a taste when you... crave it. If you would pay anything for this, and put up with a ton of BS, it's the place for you. This is a basic 1 bedroom apartment that is about 700 sq feet. Rent is $3,130. In addition to that ALL utilities have to be paid. Parking is NOT included and is an additional $75 per spot. The management is unresponsive and rude. Rent is enough to pay for a $500k mortgage. In California, there is no renter's credit. Throwing money away here wouldn't be the worst decision you could make, but pretty close.
