Love Genoa Lakes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance crew is very quick and love how they are always willing to help. The community is very nice here, absolutely love the little events they put on for the complex.

Think about what you want before moving here. If you just need a place to live and can fix things yourself, this may work. But if you’re busy and want reliable upkeep, I wouldn’t recommend it. The property owners seem to prioritize cosmetic upgrades to the front of the property over addressing issues that would genuinely improve residents quality of life. Maintenance is inconsistent, the head staff member isn’t fluent in English. The apartments are not energy efficient; our 3-bedroom averages... $300 in summer electric bills. Amenities are poorly maintained—the fire pits rarely work, only the main pool is maintained until you complain that the others aren’t getting taken care of, the gym equipment is outdated and squeaks, and the grills have ants. Pest control is unreliable and often marks visits complete without showing up, so I handle it myself. Overall, the complex invests more in appearances than in providing comfortable, well-maintained living conditions.

The home is comfortable and the neighbors are great. It's a quiet community with a lot to offer and we look forward to more community events. We are very happy here in our new home!

Overall living here is pretty nice. I like the quiet. My neighbors are very nice and I can’t wait for the new fountain they are building!!!!
