We applied for an apartment for 2022 in October of 2021. We were told there were several units available and signed the lease within 30 minutes of when the application opened up. When I called the representative said she was amazed how fast we all got our info in and we were already approved. She said we should definitely get one since we were one of the first. She said they would send an email the next week letting us know which unit we got. Each week we call for six weeks and we were told... to wait one more week. After six weeks, we are finally told we did not get a unit. Meanwhile, they charged us the application fee/deposit and just sitting on the money. The rep said it would be 2-4 weeks before corporate issued a refund for the deposit. Guess they are happy to collect the $300 application fee from 4 people they misled to think they had a unit.
