Cold...so...Cold
This apartment looks real nice, and it has a beautiful courtyard, but it is cold you have to really crank the heat to get the whole apartment warm. My furnace was in my closet. Trash has to be taken all the way to the other side of the building in the on a nice day, not bad but on a bad day and in the winter...horrible.

Crooked
Took money, for app charged why more. heating ducts only in a couple of rooms reason why heating is only a couple of rooms place used to be radiant heat your spots were radiant heat could be seen coming into every room at least once. Was converted to forced air this in turn takes up substantial closet space gas furnaces are found in closets throughout apartments.

You get what you pay for...
I moved in to Bull Manor over a year ago. When I first moved in, the place was junky, but I have a dog, so I took it. I was fine with sprucing up an apartment. The entryway is beautiful and most of the apartments look luxurious from the outside. It's in a great location for downtown-y stuff, festivals, and lakefront. I soon discovered that several things were wrong with the apartment. The toilet was circa 1920 and didn't even have a tank. It had a horrible stain in the bottom from hard water and... being poorly maintained. Two of the stove burners did not work. The stove was just that, a stove. On top of a cabinet. Like hot plates, but gas. The bathroom fan worked at first, but soon gave out. It is connected to the light, so everytime I turned it on, it screamed like cats dying. It never really ventalated and I was told that an electrician needed to be hired. Thus mold build up that I cleaned. There still has not been an electrician to my apartment. My fridge door shuts depending on the humidity in the apartment which is influenced by the fan. The floor also fell out from the wall in my bedroom which increased my heating expenses. My point is, most of these are not heavy duty maintenance issues. However, they went unresolved for over 8 months (at least), some for the duration of my stay. SO. I filed a complaint with the building inspector who agrees that no one can live with a freezing bedroom, unprotected food, and sketchy gas and electric. He wrote orders. Since then, I have recieved semi-threatening texts from the building manager regarding my dog. If you choose to live here, make sure everything works from the jump, because it takes a building inspector to get anything done.
