Great safe apartment
I’ve had a great experience living at Hydro Apartments in downtown Richmond, and it’s easily one of the better apartment communities I’ve lived in.
First off, the location is a huge plus. Being right downtown means you’re close to restaurants, bars, the river, walking trails, and nightlife, while still feeling tucked away enough that it doesn’t feel chaotic. It’s very convenient for commuting and for anyone who enjoys being able to walk to things instead of driving everywhere.
The apartments... themselves are modern, clean, and well-designed. The layouts make good use of space, the appliances are updated, and the finishes feel high-quality compared to many other downtown buildings. I also appreciate the natural light and the overall aesthetic—it actually feels like a place you want to come home to, not just a box you’re renting.

Fantastic Place to Live
Staff are always making themselves available to their tenants, they take care of business and always make sure not to cut corners on anything they do, apartment building has a great view of the city and beautiful amenities

Best place
We’ve been here for nearly 3 years and it’s one of the best places we’ve ever lived. One of our favorite things they do it a social night where everyone comes together to hangout for a little! If you’re look to change apartments come to hydro!

Love it!
I have lived at the Hydro for the past two years! I truly couldn’t think of a better location and building to live in. The building is clean and it feels like a true community here! We have the best management & maintenance team who are always wanting to make sure residents love living here. We don’t plan on leaving any time soon :)
