Renters beware!
My son just moved to the apartment 2 weeks ago. On arrival to the apartment the a/c was broke, 3 days later no ac in Texas 105 degree plus summer they finaly came and said it needs to be replaced. Fortunately they gave him a portable a/c however it was filthy, and leaking water all over the place, and only semi cooling one room. He had to use a personal towel under the nasty portable ac. He was told that it should be replaced in the coming monday (4 days from receiving the... portable AC), but now they are saying another week. he went to ask for any compensation or if he can go to hotel, but they said it was not their fault for putting him in an apartment with a broken ac reaching more then 86 degree ( preventing him form using the kitchen or any other room with out sweating to death), a leaky shower, broken garbage disposal, and many other stuff. I just wanted to share some thoughts about the new management at Sheridan Park. Yes, it’s been a bit challenging adjusting to the new rules, but sometimes change is necessary before it even arrives.

I did notice a significant increase in my utility bills initially, but after the guest parking and parking rules were implemented, my bills actually decreased. I’m guessing the unauthorized occupants are finally being added to leases, so that’s definitely a win in my book.

The community is being... cleaned consistently now. People often complain about trash, but honestly, many just leave their garbage outside the compactor and expect maintenance to clean up. I've even seen kids and adults dumping trash and furniture and then complaining about how the property looks. If folks would take responsibility, it’d be a lot better for everyone.

Overall, the new management has made a great impact—from installing new fences, ongoing construction improvements, to having an incredibly helpful office team. So to those who are complaining, maybe take a look in the mirror because you’re part of the problem.

New management care about their tenants! New rules can be difficult but needed. We have seen a different and recommended!

If you’re considering moving into Sheridan Park Apartments — I do not recommend it.
The back gates are broken all the time and stay open for weeks without repair.

Pest control? I can’t remember the last time it was done — there are ants everywhere.
Trash pickup is inconsistent, and bins are often overflowing.
I’ve been living here for 3 years, and it’s been getting worse under the new management. They do not prioritize residents’ comfort or communication.
Think twice before signing a lease here... .

I love this complex!! It’s so peaceful. I’ve been here for year & moving out due to family reasons or I would’ve stayed longer. The manager is nice & so helpful. Maintenance has been great & always responds quickly. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a safe & tranquil place to live. I haven’t had any issues at all. Thank you Enry, Luis & all the staff here at this complex.
