If I could give negative stars I would.

Pest issues. Cockroaches in both units when we moved in and moved out. We also had an ant problem and made a request and no one showed up.

Doors and windows are all crooked. Our patio door had a massive gap and they stuck on some "weather strip" that you could still feel air coming through. The entire floor was uneven and there were random holes in the floor under the flooring. None of the screens are fitted for those windows.

The cabinets in the... kitchen and bathrooms are also painted and if you wipe a slightly damp cloth on it the paint WILL peel so good luck trying to clean.

Valet trash didn't do their job very well. They dropped trash all over the stairs in our unit and LEFT it there for days. Some of those spills are STILL there. The trash also piles up at the dumpsters.

We had a leak in our bedroom. Got it fixed only for the leak to come back a couple months later. They took months to fix up the inside after the second leak. Our unit also had a lot of past water damage as well upon move in that was painted over or a floor laid on top.

If you have a unit by the pool, expect LOUD music and laughing until 1am. Also, many leave the area around it trashed afterwards. It's not a luxury at all.

If a pothole forms you better get used to avoiding it for months. Also, the gates are hardly ever closed. They say it's a gated community but they maybe used the gates a total of 1.5 months out of the 2 years my husband and I lived there.

Their pet park is basically just a fenced in area and barely anyone picks up after their pets so be careful walking in grass all over the complex.

The maintenance crew they have are fine. The guys come and do what they can, and I have no complaints. However, the office had them tied up so much that we had to drag corporate into EVERY maintenance issue. We had rust in our washing machine drum and standing water upon move in, but because it still "ran" they were refusing to replace it. Then our dryer went out and it was MONTHS before we got one. We pay for those. We weren't reimbursed. We also found out that they delivered the dryer we were supposed to get to the WRONG unit.

The only upscale part of the Avery is the front office and clubhouse and that's where it stops. Read More

i move to the complex in july and i haven’t been this excited in so long
tina is an amazing leasing agent and i WOULD refer anyone to her looking for an apartment now and in the future .
she’s super sweet , funny , works hard and gets her job done. Avery is a beautiful complex and i cannot wait to be apart of the community

This has been one of the worst apartment experiences that I have ever had. I myself am a property manager, my standards are reasonable because I know that not everything is always going to be perfect. However, for nearly a year now, I have been waiting for them to do what should have been done before I arrived. For example: MOLD inside and out each of my vents (mold is considered an emergency, to be handled right away otherwise they/any community run the risk of getting sued), roaches, window... leaks, etc.

I had to replace my own battery in my spoke alarm at move in because maintenance would not come do it. My husband fixed the broken closet shelf. Still waiting on them to fix the entry gates...

Lastly, a foundation inspector, sent by the office, told me that my building is sinking. The office, however, has not said a thing.

Unless they can get it together, I definitely would not recommend this place.
