If I could give this place a negative star, I would.
Do yourself a favor — don’t even think about moving to Woodchase Apartments.
This place is a nightmare. Here's why:
They will enter your apartment without notice. It’s invasive and unacceptable. No warning, no call — just in.
Bugs everywhere. Roaches. Gnats. You name it. Pest control is a joke, and management doesn’t care.
Water randomly shuts off. No warning, no explanation. It happens constantly — it’s a guessing game whether you’ll be able to shower.
The leasing agents are rude,... unprofessional, and dismissive. They talk down to you like you’re the problem.
And the cherry on top? They charged $1,950 for not giving a 60-day notice to vacate, even though the lease says they must provide a reminder — which they never did.
We even had to pay $1,316 for one extra month just to close out without getting penalized further.
We paid everything we owed, followed up in writing, and were still treated like an inconvenience.
This apartment complex is run with zero accountability and zero respect for tenants. Trust me — I wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog.
Avoid at all costs.

We're sorry to hear that your experience at Woodchase Apartments did not meet your expectations. While we understand moving can be stressful, we’d like to clarify a few points for the sake of accuracy.
Per the lease agreement you signed, a 60-day... written notice to vacate is required. We did, in fact, send multiple reminders about your upcoming lease expiration. If your plans had changed or you intended to move out, that would have been the appropriate time to notify the office, just as outlined in your lease. Our goal is never to surprise residents with charges, but to enforce the terms of the contract that all parties agreed to. As for the maintenance concerns mentioned, we reviewed your service request history and found only two maintenance work orders submitted during your residency, both of which were completed. If there were additional issues, we strongly encourage residents to report them so they can be addressed promptly. We can’t resolve problems we aren’t made aware of.
Regarding unit entry, any necessary access to apartments is done in accordance with state law and community policies, which include proper notices for non-emergency maintenance or inspections. If you believe there was a violation, we encourage you to reach out so we can investigate further.
We take pride in providing respectful and professional service to all residents, and we regret that you felt otherwise. That said, following lease terms and community procedures is expected of all residents, just as we hold ourselves accountable to deliver quality service.

No security cameras in the building
Always highly crime around the area and some in the building, the staff is very rude, the manager sucks never want to fix nothing in the apartment if you have an emergency they never ?? help you!! Better get other place to live

Clean your place daily? You still get roaches.
Please do not live here unless you want to slowly collect a roach army. At any point in time, even in a clean kitchen, empty sink, counters scrubbed, floors vacuumed and moped, you can still catch about 6 roaches each time you turn a light on. In a day you will easily see DOZENS of roaches for no reason. It's gross here and no matter how clean you are, you're gonna have roaches in your food. Yes, roaches in your food. They get into sealed containers..... Not to mention if you have a service... request, you might as well throw it in a storm drain (because the toilet probably doesnt flush right) live anywhere else. It's so bad that I would literally rather live with my parents. Please don't do it.

There are better options in the area
Parking is horrible, the property management has done little to nothing to remedy the problem, crime is relatively high. Cars and apartments have been broken into. With the exception of the maintenance, office staff are unprofessional and rude. You can get a lot more for your money at one of the other surrounding properties in the area.

Roaches roaches roaches
These apartments are roach infested I’ve never seen so many roaches, no matter how much you clean the roaches still come. They have maintenance come & spray but it does not work it actually made the infestation worse. I can’t even sleep comfortably at night or even sit in my living room without seeing roaches climbing the walls & floors. It never use to be this bad & ive been here for 5 years. Please maintenance spray the entire complex. By the way Norma is amazing! The only problem I’ve ever... had is the infestation.
