Management does not help or support their tenants, especially when their health is being affected. I have been asking Management for help and support for a year now with cigarette and marijuana smoke coming into my apartment from the other tenants around and how it has affected mine and my son's health to the point he has now develop asthma from second hand smoke. I've gone in personally with clothing, linens, pillows from my apartment to show them how the smoke has penetrated into everything we... own and they did not bother to smell it and do anything about it. I asked if they could please moved me apartments since the smoke has affected both of our healths and they wouldn't do unless I paid more $300 more on my rent. I regret leasing here. So far so good. I had an issue upon first arriving and the management quickly fixed it. The staff is friendly, the apartments are clean and bug free, and the neighborhood is friendly. Access to 610, 288, light rail system, and or the medical center in general, is superb. While living in this area has its challenges, UTMB housing is a block away, which leads to this area also being double patrolled by campus police. Location is great, amenities you still pay for even though they're closed due to the pandemic and major roach infestation in my unit that has not been eradicated after over 6 months of regular treatment. The management has made absolutely no effort to address the problem beyond sending the exterminator who puts gel and boric acid. It does not matter how many times you tell them, how many pictures you send -- roaches were crawling across the ceiling in the middle of the day when the exterminator... was in the apartment. He saw for himself how bad it is but that didn't change anything.

It's been one of the worst living experiences I've ever had. But the rent is cheap and my stay is short. Not somewhere to try to live long term-- find some where that you don't have to worry about roaches in your food, around your bed, in your toilet, bath tub and on the clothes in your closet. I have lived at Harvest Hill for 3 years now. I love my apartment. I have a 1 bedroom with a study. It is perfect! I work from home so the space is really nice and affordable. The office ladies are always so helpful and nice. Maintenance always repairs any issues quickly. Its also very quite and peaceful! Love watching the squirrels!

I really like my apartment at Harvest Hill. I am a student so I have a 1 bedroom with a study. Its perfect! Plenty of room to study and practice my Cello. Its so close to school and work. I can be downtown in less than 15 minutes.
