After looking and looking for someone to give a me a second chance in getting an apt, i finally was able to have a home at verandas. The girls at the front really made it stress free with getting my apt. It was so hard for me since i had a broken lease and everybody was asking for a high deposit, but thanks for my friend who referred me i was able to find a new home. Firstly when I moved here. I came with no little clothing and almost furniture no furniture besides maybe a fold away chair. I started buying furniture. Next thing bedbugs infest my newly purchased bed. Rats. At night time when its quiet in your apartment. You can literally hear them in the walls. You'll see them.in the kitchen. Your room. They escape into tiny holes in the walls. An also places under the cabinetry they were never caulked. Roaches. Black mold in the bathrooms. Just painted over... to give the appearance of everything is ok. Hot water was usually hit and miss. There are no amenities. No gym. No playground or park. Nothing. The newly renovated apartments are meh! For the prices they are charging for the newly "renovated" units. You might as well find a luxury apartment complex instead of a pretender. Everytime it rains it floods in the complex. There is also sewage at times. The maintenance men are cool. They do what they can with the resources given. The property supervisor with all the hair growing out his ears cuts major corners. They tow cars even with the newly implemented parking passes. An the tow truck drivers aren't licensed by the city of Houston. The office staff is worthless. Not all of them. Well, no. I take that back. They're all worthless. My advice to all whom are looking for a place to stay. Only come here if you absolutely have to, as a last resort. Try and save yourself the headache. Read More
