Although i like the neighborhood, we started by mega noise from neighbors kids at midnight times for a complete six months, ending up with another headache and noise from the management for another month. This place is very stressful which is the exact opposite to what you want.

Don't be fooled by the painting they're doing on the outside of the building. They would rather update the outside than deal with repairs that are 8 months overdue. Upon move in there were maggots in the sink, the place was filthy, broken cabinets (they taped and painted over them) broken doors, broken windows, no screens, broken blinds, broken tub, broken dishwasher, broken stove. Would not recommend moving here. Smells from neighboring apartments weed smoking will enter your apartment and make yours smell like a dispensary. And the kicker is the new management refusing to do anything about it even though it is a lease violation to smoke in the buildings. Prior to the new owners, the property was a smoke free property for years and everything was great. New owners, while trying to clean up the place, has terrible management that picks and chooses which lease policies to... enforce.
Put a bag of trash on your front porch too early, written notice of lease violation.

Be very cautious before moving into Meritage at Steiner Ranch. Management will take your signature on the lease and then completely turn their back on you.
