I have spent 2 months trying to get a service request fulfilled so I can get a good night sleep. The ceil fan in the unit beneath me vibrates my bedroom floor and I can hear noise through my bed frame & mattress. I can hear the noise while standing in the room. The office and manager has never made this a priority and I’m exhausted. I submitted a service request online, emailed the manager, and spoke with the manager twice, plus I have left a note on the unit door & talk directly with the unit.

When people move to Austin, they usually find a place downtown or in The Domain, paying triple or more the rent here. I got a roomy one bedroom that would make a New Yorker cry for how cheap it was.

It's a close drive to downtown, UT, Domain, Mueller, Tech Ridge. The amenities are solid as well. In unit laundry is possible with bigger units, but the shared rooms get the job done.

Communications and maintenance requests are always handled promptly, and the staff at the office are very nice and... honest people. I have no complaints and am sad to be moving cities, but I would recommend Mackenzie Pointe as a great budget friendly option. Read More

I like an older complex. These have excellent management. The layouts are weird but the maintenance team and leadership keep these running smoothly.

Location, price, upkeep, communication, all top notch.
My personal biggest downside is that you have no choice in where to get internet. You are strong armed into Astound and I do not like that. It is almost a dealbreaker. If they ever allow other providers in the complex, I would probably stay here for 10+ years.

First of all I would like to say that there are NO flying roaches here, what a treat to experience here in Austin Texas.

We recently rented apartment for my granddaughter who is going to school in Austin. We have had such a wonderful experience with the office staff. Margaret is so helpful and I called her to let her know the toilet was not flushing. The maintenance staff was there right away and fixed the toilet. We live 5 hours away and I can honestly say that the staff goes out of their way to help you. My son went to school and lived at these apartments years back. He had only good things to say.
