I chose Terra House because I was new to Nashville, and at first the location and advertised price seemed like a great value. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.

My first apartment had a severe cockroach infestation. I reported the problem repeatedly, and the unit was treated approximately 10 times while I lived there with no luck. Because I couldn't terminate my lease without penalty, my only option was to transfer to another unit in the same building. That transfer cost me... about $800 out of pocket. Unfortunately, the second unit also had cockroaches, so I spent nearly my entire 13-month lease dealing with the same issue despite numerous maintenance requests and pest control treatments.

Move-out was equally frustrating as I was hit with $200 in move out fees for days I did not even live in the unit- don't even think about asking for your security deposit back :)

My advice to anyone considering Terra House is to look beyond the advertised rent. The lower monthly price wasn't worth the ongoing pest issues, the cost of transferring units, and the lack of resolution after repeated reports. I moved out in November. Although they sent me the amount I should receive for my deposit, I have not gotten it despite it being April. The 10+ emails and many phone calls about this should provide insight to their communication to their residents.

The amenities are amazing, and Natalie was fantastic to work with!

I’ve been here a month and it’s a cool place! Good walkability and scoot-ability. The apartments are updated and really nice (no 2024 prices with 1950’s kitchens to deal with).
The worst part of living here so far is just trying to get the opportunity to - the leasing office doesn’t have good response time and even if you make an appointment to take a tour, there’s a chance they won’t be in office when you get there. And they RARELY answer the phone. Email is your best bet.
