Worst experience living here,Since April 2025 New Ownership and New Management
Worst experience living here since April 2025 new ownership and new management Rose Associates ''Everbend".According to public real estate records and news reports, the property was purchased as part of a major renovation and Value-Add" strategy. The property has been under heavy construction and ongoing disruption since April 2025, and the renovations are still continuing into 2026 with stairway work and stairs painting projects this June 2026. During my lease, maintenance requests often took... several days to receive a response, and communication from management was inconsistent. Ongoing construction throughout the year also created frequent dust, noise, and disruptions that affected the overall living environment. They are also planning to paint the stairs in June, which may create strong paint fumes throughout the property. Itis unfair for residents and future residents to have to deal with overwhelming paint smells that could potentially affect people's comfort and health. Children often ride scooters and skateboards in the same areas where cars drive, especially during weekends and evenings, which creates potential safety concerns for both residents and families. Groups of children are also frequently loud in common areas during the evenings, which affects the quiet residential atmosphere. At night, strong cannabis smoke can frequently be noticed around the property, which may be uncomfortable for residents and families who are sensitive to strong odors. I have also observed dogs off-leash in shared areas, and pet waste is not always cleaned up properly, creating unsanitary conditions in common spaces. In addition, there have also been ongoing concerns regarding parking, safety, and cleanliness around the property. Double parking and vehicles parking in assigned spaces have been recurring issues. In my experience, maintenance response times have been slow, and some interactions with staff felt unprofessional and lacking in customer service. The maintenance manager seemed very inexperience when handling maintenance issues, it took a long time to fix my AC, the process was frustrating. The manager call employees under him multiple times to replace the AC unit, it took hours, very unorganized and unprofessional. Overall, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend living here at this time. This place did not meet my expectations since the new management took over. Feel free to do your own research and visit after hours and weekends.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend living here. This has been one of the most frustrating living experiences I’ve had.
Unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing.Management has been consistently unresponsive and unprofessional.Maintenance requests often take a long time to be addressed, and communication is very limited compared to previous management, which was much more reliable and responsive. Throughout the year, there has been ongoing construction that created constant dust and noise, making it difficult to enjoy living in the apartment. During the winter, snow removal was poorly handled, which... made access and safety a concern. The building conditions are also not what you would expect. Some appliances feel outdated, and the laundry area has poor ventilation, which causes strong detergent odors and heat to spread, forcing residents to open windows just to breathe comfortably. This has been one of the most frustrating living experiences I’ve had, largely due to ongoing issues with management, maintenance, and overall building conditions. The level of service and maintenance does not match the expectations for this type of property. Interactions with management have at times felt unprofessional and lacking in basic customer service.

old and overpriced
We moved in here last year and cannot leave fast enough. This place is extremely run down- when we moved, it was clear that no one went through and checked that things were in order and working first. We had to put in probably 10 work orders the first week and have had nothing but issues since. We have had to pressure them to replace a toilet, dishwasher and washing machine that were all not functioning. the kitchen is old and disgusting. the bathroom is too, you can’t get it clean because the... ventilation is horrendous and it’s covered in built up grime that’s been painted over. The picture cuts it off but the mirror/medicine cabinet is basically unusable and looks like it’s not been replaced since the 70s. The closets constantly come off their hinges which is a huge pain, and if you get a loft, don’t expect to be able to use it from May-August because it’s too hot to be bearable. So you get to pay for all that extra real estate but can’t use it. And enjoy the Con Ed bill once it gets to 65 degrees outside. you’ll have to start turning on the AC that will barely keep one room cool. Overall this place is madly overpriced (went up $1000 apparently without any renovations on the units) and not worth it. It also takes weeks for maintenance to respond to the near constant concerns. I have unresolved issues with management since February, and they are now charging $75 for their haphazard i’ll managed parking lot (the spots don’t correlate to your building whatsoever) whereas at least the previous management it was free… rent here at your own risk.

would not recommend.
Have lived here for years solely because I don’t want hassle of moving, but I am going to pursue moving now. When I first moved here, I told management a month before, on the date I would move in. I came from a far distance away and was told that my apartment was not ready. Maintenance requests originally took weeks to months, although they have much improved with this. Kids are constantly running through the streets, and being very loud, especially at night after quiet hours. The apartments... themselves are outdated, with old cabinets, linoleum stained floors, and washers and dryers without venting to the outside. Making apartments very hot. Don’t get me started on the parking situation. If you are not parked in the one spot that you are assigned, management has no problem, calling the towing company and putting a boot on your car. They will literally boot their own residents, no matter the circumstance. Visitors have to park in a lot that is Over the hill by the sushi restaurant – extremely inconvenient. “Trash mansion” is extremely disgusting. There’s absolutely nowhere to enjoy outdoor space. Overall, very cheap quality place for an extremely expensive and outrageous price.

Higher rent than advertised and dirty property
They advertise one rent to draw you in, then hit you with hundreds more in fees per month. After the first year they raised our rent by another $300. The property is covered in trash due many of the tenants who simply throw trash on the ground. Some people that live there are very sketchy. The one dumpster area for the property is way too small so people throw trash everywhere in that area, including into the recycling dumpster. The units get extremely hot in the summer. The clothes dryers are... in a closet in the middle of the unit so they don't have a vent to the outside. The heat and lint empty into the unit making it even hotter and the dryer lint goes everywhere. The kitchens are so small that my wife and I couldn't both be in there at the same time to help each other cook, put away food, do dishes, etc. The staff are nice, but these places are not worth the amount they are asking.
