I lived here for about a year and just moved out at the end of September 2023. I loved it!

PROS: environment is a block off the Hudson River path and consists of a tree-lined oasis between two parks - the absolute best neighborhood with a cleaners/restaurants/Pilates-Yoga studio within a 2 minute walk, a grocery on the first floor of the building and breathtaking views as soon as you walk out; best place in the world if you have a dog - you can literally go out in the middle of the night and... not feel unsafe and there are several grassy areas with beautiful views; the entire staff (management-Dave/Jericka, concierge-Christine/Marta/Whitley, and maintenance) really go above and beyond to provide residents with a superior, stress-free, and convenient living experience and, to top it off - they are kind; convenience - literally an 8 minute (pleasant) walk to the ferry that goes over to Midtown and the Financial District; layout - the rooms have great finishes, large closets/baths, higher than average ceilings and just feel instantly "comfortable;" parking - a little pricey but right there in the building.

CONS: None really -- the kitchens/baths, while roomy/spacious, were a little dated but they're currently updating them beautifully; the rent went up fairly significantly in a year but that's more a function of the real estate market and the fact that the building is in demand because it really is great.

I am now able to work 100% remotely but if I ever need to get a place in/near the City again, I will probably go right back to 55 Riverwalk. I looked at several of the other buildings in the area and found that, unless I wanted to purchase a condo, it's probably the best rental in the area. Read More

Rose Associates Inc.- worse management company to takeover the building. Leasing office is very careless about their tenants. we have to pay for every single thing even a simple thing as asking them to complete a rental verification form for me- they charged me $75. I have never heard of that.

Amazing moving experience. We have visited almost every building in Port Imperial area but 55 Riverwalk place really matches all our expectations. Leasing office and concierge are very effective and helpful. Michael went above and beyond to make our moving experience smooth an easy. Very pleased with our experience!

This community is so beautiful! We loved our tour of the property, they have great amenities and the features of the apartment are spectacular! We spoke with Samantha Over the phone and she took her time to explain how the application process works, and helped me and my wife with all our questions. We look forward to coming back in October and touring it once more before we move in for the winter time!
