Over priced, unpleasant staff, very intrusive

My husband and I lived at this apartment complex from 2015–2017 under previous ownership, and we had a positive experience back then. Unfortunately, after moving back in 2024 under new management, our experience was completely different—and not in a good way.

The current management team was difficult to work with and lacked the professionalism and courtesy we had experienced in the past. One of the biggest issues was how intrusive they were with frequent entries into our apartment for...
inspections and various tests. There was no flexibility whatsoever—no ability to schedule a time window, no consideration for work schedules, and no accommodation for pets.

This became a serious issue for us because our dog is diabetic and requires strict feeding times and constant access to water. Leaving her kenneled all day is not an option, as it could make her very sick. Despite explaining this, management showed no willingness to work with us. As a result, I had to miss work multiple times just to be present for these entries, costing me several hundred dollars each time.

The move-out process was equally frustrating. They scheduled our final move out inspection and then management insisted on a pre-move-out inspection for a month prior to the final inspection to decide whether they wanted to remodel the unit, again with no regard for our schedule. We reminded them that we scheduled our move out and to return keys 10 days before the lease ended so they would have additional time to make any arrangements without be intrusive to our time and schedules. 

To make matters worse, the final inspection was set for April 24th at 11 a.m., and no one ever showed up or contacted us. We wasted an entire day waiting. Since we had to leave for another state, we were forced to leave the apartment unlocked with the keys and garage remote inside, which was completely unacceptable.

Financially, things didn’t improve. While our rent was correctly prorated for the final few days of our lease, we were still charged for a full month of garage and trash valet services—even though our lease ended on May 3rd. There were no exceptions made, which felt unreasonable and unfair.

Overall, our experience this time around was incredibly disappointing. Due to the lack of professionalism, flexibility, and basic consideration, we will never return to this property as long as it remains under the current management. We also would not recommend it to friends or family.

Bombarded with Noise

The staff was always friendly but the broken fire alarms for over a year was so obscenely negligent. Very little was communicated to residents during the process about what was being done, and no compensation of any form was offered for the trauma involved. It got to the point where I could have been caught in an actual fire if there had been one because I wanted to try to sleep through them at 5:30 am.

My garage door opener was defective, which lead to my motorcycle being stolen. Perhaps if...
they don’t nickel and dime me with move out fees I might recommend it to those who can afford it. The location is pretty good, but without gates it’s always at least a little noisy/busy

Save yourself the headache

I have rented with these guys going on 4 years and each year the service and value continues to rapidly decline. The property management company and upper management who run it truly could not care less for the residents who live here. They make it very clear that it isn't their home and so they aren't going to go out of their way to make you any more comfortable than they feel is suffice.

Recently there have been a very high number of car windows being broken into during the nights and the...
apartments response is simply that they have a patrol unit that patrols around periodically. I've seen this patrol maybe a total of 3 times in the time that I've lived here. Useless.

Finally, let me tell you about Valet Living - you are forced to pay for a trash service that comes to your door to collect your trash on a nightly basis. Sounds pretty great right? Except for the fact that they have a plethora of rules that you won't find out about until the next morning when your trash is still sitting there by your door, or the carelessness of the attendants who will literally drag and drop trash all through the breezeways, the stairwells, the walkways, etc. There is no option to opt out of this $20/month subpar service. It's truly quite disgusting.

Alarms!

If you like to live in a complex that has faulty fire alarms that go off at all hours of the day and night (twice this week and it's only Friday), by all means, come on in. Also, they are terrifyingly loud and scare the hell out of my cat. The last time it happened this week, I watched water come out of the rooftop of the walkway and dripped down to the ground. Pretty sure that's a bad thing. As an added bonus, getting someone to turn off the loud alarm can take up to an hour. I've sent... numerous emails and had phone calls with the front office but, sadly, landlord/leasing agents refuse to work with tenants to negotiate an early termination of your lease, so I'll just have to suck it up until my lease term expires. Oh, and one day for no apparent reason, my living room window just fell out of its casing all on its own and came crashing several stories down. Fortunately, there were no humans or cars where it landed, but holy hell. That kind of thing should not happen. Was nice to have my window boarded up until they got it replaced. Looked like a crime scene. Elevator's been broken a few days now. This place looks so nice from the outside and the interiors are quite decent, but these negatives pretty much kill the enjoyment factor. Every word of this is true and I can back it all up. I'd love to get an intelligent response from them, but it will be the predictable "contact the office so we can make your life better" line. If you're reading this, you CAN make my life better; let me out of my lease so I can get some sleep.

Do not move here!!

I never write reviews but DO NOT MOVE HERE! The building fire alarm, which is loud and piercing, goes off at all hours of the day and night. It’s currently 4am and it finally went off after over an hour. The fire department has to come out every time. The tenants are beyond frustrated, as this has been going on for months, with no apparent end in sight.

The garbage is also an issue, the dumpsters are always overflowing, with garbage strewn everywhere and flies and bugs crawling over it. Just...
disgusting.
