Unreliable water
I moved to this place in April of 2024. Most things have been great. But there have been recurring issues with maintenance:
- The front door routinely is "broken" either being propped open for anyone to enter, or jammed shut making it difficult for people with keys to enter. I think it's been fixed for a few months now but it's not consistent.
- The elevator only works sometimes. No rhyme nor reason to when it goes out, or for how long. I live on the sixth floor so I've gotten a ton of stairs in... this year.
- The worst part is that I have had unreliable hot water since I moved in. I have hot water for about 2-10 minutes before it completely runs out, no water coming out of the faucet at all. It takes at least 3-5 minutes for the water to return, sometimes up to 20-30 mins. I've taken multiple videos of this issue. 3-4 different plumbers have marched through on many different occasions, swapping out hardware and turning things off and on. Every time, they close the ticket saying it was fixed and closed. And every time, I find that the same issues persisted hours after the plumber leaves. More than once I've been left in a stopped shower with soap in my eyes and it's below freezing outside. More than once my dish washer has run without even filling it with water, leaving dry and dirty dishes. I've tried to call the office, they mark it down, and never follow up. I've emailed them with no response. I guess I'll just keep submitting tickets until someone takes me seriously, or until I move out.
