Satisfied with amenities, but maintenance requests need urgent attention
We really enjoy the 5th-floor community amenities; the pool and playground are big hits with the children. The shuttle bus service is also excellent and highly satisfactory.
That being said, the maintenance of certain facilities could be improved. A lot of the BBQ equipment is currently broken and inconvenient to use, and there is an occasional odor from the carpets. Additionally, my request to repair a broken window has... not been addressed yet. I also find that ventilation is a bit challenging due to the structural layout of the building.
I hope management takes these points into consideration to improve the resident experience.

Been living at Modern for years now. This is the best rental building in the area. I appreciate all that work in Modern; the concierge, the mailroom staff, amenity team, the maintenance people, all off the office staff including Shawn and Karen. Shawn is always very courteous, kind and helpful. Any issues you may have, he will make you feel at ease and help you solve immediately. The concierge people all feel like family!

The staff’s kindness is so great that no amount of praise would be enough. Even right after I moved in, the way they recognized me the moment I walked in, greeted me with a warm smile, and held the elevator for me clearly shows how professional they are, and it keeps making me feel that I made the right choice moving here.
I haven’t had the chance to fully experience all the building amenities yet, but I’m really looking forward to life here and feel very happy about it.
