Halstead es un gran equipo, siempre estan dispuestos ayudar y dar un buen servicio, esta una de las cosas por las que llevo viviendo en esta comunidad por mas de 10 anos. Espero esta compania no se valla y que sigan sirviendonos del mismo modo.

Halstead is a beautiful community with great amenities and friendly staff. Pet friendly and the grounds are always clean and well maintained. Pet owners could do more to curb their dogs. I have been a resident for more than a year and highly recommend to singles and families

I just moved here recently with my twin sister, and it is SO much more homey and relaxing than our last apartment. The amenities are fantastic and totally new and refreshed, the staff are all wonderful people, and we absolutely adore the apartment. This place feels so secluded, which is perfect to feel like you’re getting away from all the craziness of daily life. Move here!!!

Pros: the apartments are a great size and spacious, location is very quiet for the most part and yet still close to lots of stores, restaurants, and activities.
Maintenance is usually responsive and efficient.
Cons: You can hear everyone around you. Might as well put a piece of paper between you and your neighbor and that goes for people next to you and under, not just above you. Seriously, who designed this building? If you rent here, buy earplugs to sleep so you don’t hear constant door... slamming and banging around you, or heavy footsteps above you.
Additionally, they have a space heater that increases your electricity bill in the winter. Mine went up even after I stressed to them to put it on the lowest setting possible. It’s such a stupid little way to throw money away for 3 or 4 months that isn’t worth it at all.
And due to no insulation, your gas bill might also increase due to an awful draft in the winter, pending on which unit or floor you’re in. My windows have terrible drafts but that could also just be lofts in general.
They don’t cover any utility like other places would, and you pay $10 for unreserved, uncovered parking. Most places have 1 reserved spot included in rent, covered or not! So you are paying a lot on top of your base rent.
It’s great they are pet friendly, but they literally has no control over the dogs they allow to live here. Some are extremely aggressive and a lot of them bark nonstop in their units. They think a simple email will solve all the problems, but it doesn’t.
There is no security and the parking lot is not gated, and there have been car break-ins (which I guess can still happen and it can happen anywhere, but it would be nice to have some security).
I have no idea where all the negative reviews are because Ive seen a lot of disgruntled neighbors. It could be nicer if they at least did something about the dogs, and if possible, put insulation of some sort in these walls.
