When I was looking for an apartment to rent, I went to several around town and cried after leaving each one. None felt right. When I walked into University Hill, I knew it was different. From the incredible women in the leasing office (Mary and Nancy), to the inviting lobby, incredible pool, happy murals, and modern apartment design bursting with light, I knew I had found my home. Everything has been amazing - fun gatherings, attentive maintenance crew (shout out to James, Larry and Ken!), and... the amenities (the gym is perfect with several machines, and an electronic trainer to help you get going with the equipment). I am so grateful for finding this place!

Great Place!
This apartment complex is one of the best places to live in Durham. It look me a while to figure out where to live, but UHill was definitely the right choice! I love the area and how convenient it is. The staff is great! One of the best management teams I've experienced in my 7 years of renting. All properties have their flaws, but UHill and their staff try their very best to make living here a wonderful experience. Highly recommend! :)

Convenient living
The apartment is located in a convenient location with easy access to a variety of grocery stores and areas such as Duke, UNC, and the triangle if you are working. The office and maintenance staff are friendly, helpful (special thanks to Mary), and they will try their best to help you with any issues. The apartments are nice, lots of space/cabinets, and are maintained well. I would recommend a 4th floor apartment if you are sensitive to noise. The gated lot is nice. I particularly enjoyed the... package room since it notified me when things were there and kept the package safe if I wasn’t able to pick it up.

Great living
Safe community, sharp looking apartments, grounds that are kept clean and orderly (thanks James and Christopher, the maintenance staff here is top notch). This place is the nicest apartment complex in which I’ve rented. The staff really shows concern for us renters. Mary, Nancy, and Carlos are a dynamic team and always there to help with smiles and genuine investment. I’ve never rented anywhere with an entire staff this good! Restaurants are at your fingertips (literally right ifo the building)... and more is super close by. Also, there’s always outliers ofc, but here at UHill the tenants are mostly quiet and pleasant. Let’s keep up that sense of community if you choose to rent here too! :D
