Since they deleted my review off their Facebook page, I will submit it here. Also BEWARE, they will try their best to find something wrong with your apartment after you leave a bad review. They charged me $200 for a half inch scratch on the freezer caused by a magnet. The scratch existed before we moved in, I didn't consider it "damage" so I didn't write it on the condition report. Horrible management! Also, the LEAST diverse staff you will ever find.

You can do much better for the price! You... pay for concierge to sit at at desk on Facebook. The office staff is non-existent for the average resident. BUT... If you're their friend and bake them cakes, you can get whatever you want!

While we here the garage was broken into... Lots of people stuff stolen. The garage door broke, the couldn't get parts for weeks.

Lived there for about 16 months. It looked great at first glance. However, there were a few issues to be noted. Appliances looked brand new, but when you ran them you can tell they have been cheaply repaired by the maintenance team(dishwasher, stove, sink). The walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbor yawn when he woke up in the morning they are so thin. The thin walls also led to noise issues late at night. You could hear people right above you or right next to you constantly. Especially... because there are so many families in the building with kids running around. I did enjoy the location and the workout facility. Also- the fixtures and doors are very cheap. Our patio door was bent so bad by the previous tenant that there was a constant airflow in and out of the apartment which led to higher energy bills. We asked Genesee to fix this because it was very concerning. Tyler, the assistant manager, would send someone in and then the person who was sent in to do the repair would tell us the fix is too expensive so the building wouldn't pay for it and try to rig the door in an inexpensive way. That came to be a common theme. With how much they charge for rent, I would find a different place to live where you really get what you are paying for.
