Beware of Negligent Management

Lies, disregard for human health and safety, a belief that the rules do not apply to them characterize Arlington Minuteman Towers. Don’t move in unless you have a lawyer on retainer.

Don’t move in.

This building is horrible and management is even worst. The elevator was broken for 3 months with no updates - they only fixed it once renters threatened to withhold rent. They don’t upkeep any common areas, the “free heat” with rent means your apartment is a uncomfortable sauna in the winter- that you can’t turn off. The super will return calls hours later with replies like “ya maybe the water will be back in 20 minutes”. It’s miserable - stay far away.

bad management

this building might have a good location but the management is crap. they keep hiking up the costs in the middle of our leases claiming it is for things that we were told was included in the rent. they had the nerve to suddenly charge $100 extra for parking while the elevator was down for 3 months in a 5 story building with disabled and elderly people living here. the fire alarm goes off about 20 times a year because of faulty wiring and most people who live here don't even bother to go outside... when it goes off anymore which is especially dangerous. i highly suggest if you move here to go outside whether it happens all the time or not... but they are crappy. it took almost 2 months for them to fix a bad leak i had. the washing machines have gone broken for a week or more... it's just pretty messed up that they keep hiking up the prices while not fixing anything. they recently fixed the windows in the whole building that no one was even complaining about. my guess is that they're trying to force everyone here out so they can rebuild and charge double or tripple what they are, but there are people who have been living here for 10-30 years, maybe more. and they're being driven out.
