If you like the hallways, elevator, stairwell and parking garage dirty for the amount you pay for luxury living then this place is for you. I do not believe they have a cleaning crew and tenants do not care to pick up after their pets.

Stay Far FAR Away
Don't let them fool you with their "luxury living" advertisements because they are far from it.
Throughout the time we lived there, we had many issues. ?Starting with: doors not closing all the way, amenities being broken/not turned on over the weekend, and the dishwasher not washing our dishes adequately.? There were multiple instances where the fire alarm went off and it was a false alarm- once even at 3am. Some of the smaller problems got fixed with a simple maintenance request, but even... the maintenance staff would step out of line when fixing the original problem, which caused even bigger issues. My husband and I decided to put an extra lock on the door because of the maintenance staff’s inappropriate comments towards me.
The walls, floors, and ceilings are so thin that you can hear your upstairs and next door neighbors without an issue. We heard constant stomping at 2am because our upstairs neighbors (with kids) were constantly walking around. If you want a quiet place, this isn’t the spot for you.
They also allow dogs in the building with no breed restrictions. Management says they “get a DNA sample and fine” those who do not pick up after their pet, but that’s far from the truth. The stairwells constantly smelled like urine and there would be dog droppings in the elevator. Our neighbor owned a pitbull that would constantly be off their leash. It got to the point I felt so unsafe that I couldn’t be in the hallway while the dog was out. With the walls being so thin, it’s guaranteed you’ll hear a lot of barking.
Not only would there be dog droppings on the floor constantly, but people’s trash. There is valet trash in the apartment complex so the hallways always smell awful, as people put their trash out at all hours of the day and sometimes even leave it out over the weekend.
For months, my husband and I have had respiratory issues. There was constant dust in the apartment and we would constantly be coughing with nonstop headaches or even nausea. One morning, I even blew my nose and there was something that looked like black tar on the tissue. My husband’s cough got so bad that he had to go for chest x-rays. Since we moved out, the coughs have disappeared. Come to find out, our previous neighbors have been experiencing mold issues, most likely in the HVAC system.
If you’re looking for an apartment, stay far away from Union Green unless you want to develop health problems and live under constant stress.

Sucks
Entire pool area is closed, including the grill 75% of the time. If I knew that I never would have signed a lease. Management does not communicate about anything. I go down to grill at 8 pm in late may and it is locked for some reason. They have a heated pool but they keep it freezing cold for no reason. Don’t live here. Everything looks nice but is very cheap. The building has been sold at least 3 times in 2 years. Maintenance is bad, they say that they have fixed something and I can’t tell if... they even touched it. I really regret living here.

Just Okay
I moved in early 2020 into a “brand new” unit that was dirty and already had dings and scratches on the counters. The unit wasn’t cleaned before my move-in day, but it wasn’t a big deal - they had it cleaned within a couple of hours. My bigger complaint is just how cheap everything is once you really start to look at it. The dishwasher is poor quality and you can pull the shower nozzle away from the unit fairly easy. For the price, the appliances and build are too low quality in my opinion....
Move in was fine and front staff is fine. I had issues with one maintenance person, but never an issue with the other. Pool and exercise rooms are nice bonuses and you can’t beat having a washer/dryer in your unit.
Overall, I’ve lived in a lot of apartments. This isn’t the best, but it’s not the worst either. I wouldn’t pay these prices again for this unit but it is a decent place to live.

Affordable luxury
I was drawn to Union Green for numerous reasons. It’s affordable, it’s VERY pet friendly (which was a high priority for me), luxurious amenities, within walking distance of shops and restaurants, the staff is super friendly and very helpful. I’m absolutely thrilled to call Union Green my home!
