TGM Apartment Complex is a disaster. Management is rude, unhelpful, and constantly makes promises they never keep. I never got my referral bonus or my security deposit back. The place has serious pest problems — ants, bugs, even mice.

Appliances are old, windows aren’t sealed (freezing in winter, boiling in summer), and rent goes up with zero improvements. Loud neighbors, unsafe parking with semi-trucks carrying hazardous materials, and a total lack of respect from the office.

I am extremely disappointed with this community and would give it a 0-star rating if I could. It's NOT safe or hygienic to live here.
Here is what is actually happening here:
Several other long-term residents have also reported similar issues, and I have experienced them myself, especially since the end of 2022. The most concerning problem is the presence of cigarette butts all over the place, which poses a serious fire hazard. Unfortunately, no one seems to care about this issue. Furthermore,... the management team is completely unresponsive and shows no concern for the well-being of their residents. Since the end of last year, we have been facing a major recurring issue with our kitchen sink. It frequently gets clogged and results in backflows, leaving a pungent odor in our home. The situation has even caused our sink to overflow and spill onto the floor at one point. Despite our repeated complaints to the leasing office, the issue persists, and there seems to be no solution in sight. It's frustrating to know that the root cause of these problems is due to the new neighbors moving in who don't follow the rules.
Consider finding a different place to live. It's not worth taking the risks that we have experienced. You deserve a better living situation than this 0-star TGM Willowbrook. Anywhere will be better than here.

DO NOT MOVE IN!!!!!! The apartment community is extremely poor! In 2022, they raised the rent excessively, causing some long-term residents to move out, but because the price was too high, not many people moved in. The apartment tries to attract customers by offering free rent for a few months, but this has brought many problems. For example, your neighbors around you do not follow the apartment's policies; they casually throw cigarette butts on the lawn and your patio!!!(even though the... apartment claims to be non-smoking but it's obviously just for show); the sound insulation is extremely poor, and you can hear all the noises from next door or upstairs, which makes one feel very uncomfortable! I lived here for 4 years bc of the school system and watched the service and maintenance of the buildings sharply decline. My oven was broken for the last 3 months of the lease with no answer from the staff. The plumbing was consistently backed up. Lack of internet and noise were also issues. The amenities are a sad shamble with an unable tennis court, old gym, and overcrowded dog park/ pools. Members of the staff are difficult to reach and often rude when you are able to speak to them. For 3 years:
Gas leak,
Air-condition broke down 100F in the apartment in august,
No heat for a week in winter since furnace broke,
Ripped jackets from old washing machine,
Ants in the house,
Bath tub re done two times,
Parking full constantly
In the peak of Covid back in 2020 people with no mask in the gym and management says its ok they maintain distance( room small not ventilated)

Beside few profesional maintanance man like Chris and first of all good and hard working people I can not say the same for the managment especially for Jennifer. Leva is an exeption there, and I really hope so she will have higher position in this company or find some other job since her abilities are beyond this company.
I have been here since 2018, and I will be leaving as sooon as my lease is done. You have carpet cleaning per lase but even though I signed a new lease I need to schedule it after sending them insurance copy like I will run away somewhere. You can not schedule it when u need it but when is allowed by the rules, so if you want it to be cleaned in the middle of the lease year you can not.
For 3 years I had one late payment bc we had flu and I couldnt make it to the office, I payed it on 6th in the morning, and due is by 5th. So employee came 7am to put a not on my door on 6th, no way they could call you on 5th to remind you especially that I was never late. But they wait for to charge a late fee 100$. They waved it after me calling and explaining this.
Now I had an issue with a bank and I hve called them yo let them now that it might be a problem for them to deposit the check and I cam bring another one. Their employee told me not to do that since I cam be double charged and that everything looks ok from their end. I clearly asked and told that I am calling in order not to be charged a late fee. I have send that check on time but they are calling me back on 17th of the month to let me know about check and manager kept talking not letting me explain myself. Manager Jennifer told me that there is issue with a check and I will be charged late fee together with check fee 175$ extra!!!
