I am very dissatisfied with the way the apartment management handled the mice infestation in my unit. I had to deal with 28 mice in the span of three weeks, which caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. While maintenance brought some traps, I also had to buy my own traps and bait. When I asked for compensation (equivalent to a fraction of monthly rent) for the emotional and mental stress the situation caused, I was told to send photos of the mice and receipts for the traps. It took them 9 months to fix a shattered window of mine, and only fixed the window after I called every day for weeks on end. The office staff were snarky and rude when I tried to speak to a manager about it. My bedroom was 20 degrees colder than the rest of the apartment because of this window, and I probably spent hundreds extra on trying to heat it during this time. TGM also REFUSES to do rental verifications for their current and previous tenants. I was denied an apartment and was almost... homeless because this is the only complex I've ever lived in, and they would not confirm my rental history for the next complex. This should be illegal. I have been here a few years anow and they have really turned things around. The new office staff that was here for the past year is really nice and responsive. I know there has been some mismanagment in the past but Im starting to enjoy living here more. The maintanence team is also a lot more responsive and quick with some of the issues I have had. I was thinking of moving for a while but honestly I am going to stay for a while. Its comfortable and located near the stores and resturaunts.

Even if you fulfill you twelve month contract, you need a written sixty day notice. This means if you're about to leave at twelve months and you give your notice at the 11 month, you must pay another month. Even under extraneous situations.

TGM is trying to pass off incredibly suspect carpet replacement charges when we were denied to be present in our final inspection. We took great care of our apartment and loved living here for a year, but the complete lack of professionalism and quite frankly poor business practices have soured my opinion of TGM.
