This apartment complex is falsely advertised as safe and affordable, when in reality it is neither. The stairwells are absolutely disgusting—constantly filled with cigarette butts and reeking of urine. The grounds are no better. Animal droppings are everywhere, trash is scattered throughout the property, and basic cleanliness is clearly not a priority. Safety is the biggest concern. There are people constantly lurking around, and at all hours there is nonstop noise—banging, screaming, and loud... music, which all can be heard even from the top floors. It does not matter what time of day it is; peace and quiet simply do not exist here. This complex is marketed as a gated community, yet the gates are always wide open, allowing anyone to enter freely. There is no sense of controlled access or security whatsoever. I genuinely feel so unsafe living here that I do not walk down the stairs without holding a taser. That alone should say everything. No resident should feel this level of fear in a place they are supposed to call home. If you are looking for a clean, safe, and truly gated community—look elsewhere. The advertising is misleading, and the reality is deeply disappointing and concerning.

Dangerous
It has been under new owners for over a year now, it has only gotten more dangerous and more expensive. Expect homeless people to come up to you and your kids, expect to be kicked out of the pool area by an officer at 4pm, don't expect an officer or the office to help when there are car break ins, loud music, or someone is shooting outside.

Runnnnn!
This is a horrible apartment complex. If you are a parent looking for your college student an apartment to rent, I beg you to bypass Lakeview at Market District apartments. They are liars. I have called several times as a concern parent to speak with a manager. Each time, I am told the manager is busy. Some of my concerns are below. Fire extinguisher is missing in the breezeway- the person that answered the phone at the leasing office said they have NOT contacted the fire department and... that they must wait until the fire department come for inspection, but they do not know when. I told them in the meantime, a fire can happen. Therefore, I contacted the fire department. Hopefully, they get a fine for not having a working fire extinguisher for the residents because they are fully aware that it is missing. Trash is everywhere- after complaining to the leasing office, I was told that they are short staffed. There are open packs of raw food such as chicken just laying in the breezeway. No lights- It took them 4 days and several phones calls from me to come fix the circuit breaker so my son and his roommates could have light in the common area of the apartment. They had to use their cellphone lights. Entrance gate- The entrance gate is not working. They said they do not have enough gate keys, so they must leave it open. One reason we selected this apartment for my son is because of the gate for safety. I could go on and on about them. I can guarantee that they make sure to collect the rent on time every month. This place needs new management!!! Runnnn!!

i do not recommend
this place is so unprofessional.. you can find a better apartment for way less money. they do not respect their residents. they seem very nice at first, but once you sign, youll realize you trapped yourself. they give bare minimum to their residents and threaten to charge for everything.
